"Decided to have take away from here for dinner in my room at the nearby Adina Hotel. Convenient location behind Kings St Wharf. Interesting menu, quick service and generous servings. Reasonably priced. Had an entree of curry puffs which were very good followed by pad thai with seafood which was only average. This dish may not have translated well to take away and perhaps would better with chicken or beef. Would try this place again for either take away or eat in."

"I've been to Est twice- for the dinner tasting menu and lunch à la carte, so my review below is based on both experiences.<br>

Service is fairly good. Staff are largely attentive, helpful and friendly, although there were a few instances of forgetting our requests.<br>

Ambience and decor are very nice, creates a lovely setting to relax and catch up with friends. In the day especially, the light pours in through the tall windows and creates a lovely bright mood.<br>
<br>
Unfortunately the food and drinks can be a hit or miss. Some of the dishes were quite nice and some really were not (found quite a few to be too salty, too dry). Some of the cocktails were not great either (e.g. mine tasted too similarly to Thai green curry for my preference!)<br>
<br>
Overall-- Est is great for service, ambience and environment, but you'll find better food and drink elsewhere."

"Small informsl cafe on King street. They have tables for people and a counter with stools that over look the street. The place smells great with all the thai spices.They have a large menu with lots of rice and noodle options . I had the tom yum veggie prawn soup to start which was on small size but full of veggies and veggie shrimp and a little heat. For my main I had the pad keep mai. Which had a little heat and was on the oily side. It was very tasty and had a alot of veggies."
