"Star of Siam Restaurant has been here for ages and is a well known Thai food standby by both locals and area employers (catering). We started with Gyo Tod (fried wontons) which were unique as you usually don’t see shrimp wontons on Thai menus! They were served with in-house made plum sauce and were generously filled. Very good delicious starter to dinner. We ordered Pad Ruam Mit (mixed vegetables) with chicken although you can have tofu or other meat choices. Also, Panang Nue (beef curry) which didn’t disappoint. Huge amount of beef in the rich flavorful curry! Both dishes offered generous amounts of tender meat and vibrant flavors. Notables: 1. If you like your dish spicy hot then you need to tell the server or you’ll get your dish served flat tasting (in my opinion). 2. Jasmin rice is extra and doesn’t come with your meal but the food was really good quality and generously portioned so it wasn’t a big deal. Restaurant was clean, service was excellent and friendly. Tables and booths are very roomy."
