"I've been to this place many times before and through many of the different ownership incarnations. And while this is not the best arrangement the food is competent if not typical. I particularly like the takeaway Curry which can be used at home to create something delicious in a pinch. Nice for families who want something quick and not too challenging. Better value than Sala Thai but fairly average in general. Seating is very casual and a little messy."

"Not bad but not good. My box was very bland. I would suggest getting extra sauce and extra veggies for an additional charge. My food wasn't bad, it just lacked diversity and flavour so I most likely would not eat here again. Service was good ??"

"A very small place with seating for 16? Food is cooked fast and fresh. A nice varied menu with good price range. Lunch and dinner specials offered daily. Family owned and operated. Lunch for two with a doggy bag to take home was $20. Parking is sprinkled around the neighbourhood. Located in a great area with lots of other healthy competition to keep the quality up and price reasonable. They ask the level of spice and are true to their word. We will be back. Great local haunt."

"Of all the pho places I’ve been, this is up front the most charming. It felt welcoming and quaint, right down to the older lady with the grey hair who waited on me with such a pleasant and calming manner. First thing I notice is the complete condiment selection, nicely arranged and generous. So many places skimp on that, like they don’t trust you not to use too much or stuff it in your bag. I got the spicy Vietnamese broth and steam came rolling off the bowl like mists rising from the ancient forests. When the broth arrived, I was disappointed in the accompanying basil, it was skimpy and very wilted and I was ready to write the place off. But then I addressed the broth and it was spectacular! It’s that thing where I can smell the fish sauce but only taste a profound savory depth. It’s rare I don’t add a little hoisin or chili sauce, but the broth was perfect just as it came. I love a good thick chewy noodle and this was excellent. When I went to take a drink of water, I was pleased by the hint of lemon, a gesture of care that I find powerful and attractive. When the waitress brought tea, she poured politely and arranged my cup for me in a convenient position, I suspect she is one of the owners as she has that ability to show confidence and strength through quiet service. It was special. Back to the basil, on my next visit if it’s wilted again I will remove a star, because really? Edit: 2nd and third visits, perfect basil. On the other hand, it won’t stop me from coming again and again for the amazing soup and the warm and calming atmosphere."

"What a great place for Thai food. This is a small restaurant where they can push tables together for a large group of The service is always great and the food is to die for. You can have it as hot as you want...just ask. The owners are the best and are always willing to help. They are only open for dinner at P.M. till closed on Tuesdays. You will enjoy your self."

"Just finished eating here with my boyfriend, and we had a great time! Everyone was very nice and service was quick and pleasant. We shared pad see ew and pineapple fried rice and both were delicious! The pineapple fried rice was a tad overcooked and the pad see ew noodles were a tad chewy, but this doesn't take away from a good experience.Vegetarian options: Tofu is a protein option on most dishes.Kid-friendliness: There's nothing that's NOT kid friendly!Parking: There's a decent amount of parking in the lots around this building, as it's part of a strip mall. I didn't see many disability parking spots though."

"I like Fat Mao a lot. It has lots of atmosphere as the comic books are the receipt holders, art on the walls, 4 delicious sauces at the table and the staff are relaxed and friendly.The noodles are perfectly cooked in a novel way that gives texture, flavour, colour and charm. I would really recommend Fat Mao as an easy to find yummy restaurant just East of Main on Georgia .Ellen"

"The food at this restaurant was incredible! We got 4 entrees and each one of them were sooo good!! Would’ve been a 5-star experience hands down if the servers had not tried to hurry us up because they closed at 9p. We got there at 8:25p and there was plenty of time for us to eat in peace without having to be rushed. This is the first restaurant I have ever been to where the staff kept coming to the table asking to clear the dishes because they close at 9p. By 9p we were done paying and had to leave because they were in a hurry to close."
