"Gai 'N Rice has never failed to disappoint me in every meal I have had here. Each rice plate is portioned well, has great flavor, and leaves you satisfied that you are glad you ordered what you got. I get the Take2, and swap out the lean meat for dark meat. The combination of the crispy chicken and the flavorful dark meat, along with the soybean sauce and sweet chili sauce, gives the dish so much flavor to play with. Additionally the plate comes with a small bowl of broth that is just so refreshing. I 've had the Thai Coffee and Thai Tea here as well. It 's not too strong on the coffee or tea flavor, but it also isn 't just diluted by the dairy they use. I enjoy it a lot if I 'm having it in the afternoon. Gai 'N Rice is my favorite comfort meal within the Sacramento area and I would implore anyone who hasn 't had it yet to go and try it."

"Restaurant has a dedicated vegetarian menu and most of the things on it are either vegan already or can be made vegan. they are also great about veganizing other menu items like pad thai on request. when they pickup, eating will be done quickly, which is always great!"

"Disclaimer: Don't mind the image, I was extremely hungry So I've been looking for a place that served good combination fried rice. I tried the chinese places in the area and they didn't seem to hit just right. My parents ate at this place before and it never dawn on me until today to try them...and so I DID! I ordered a vegetable spring roll and fried rice with chicken, shrimp and beef. The egg rolls were light and crisp. The sauce complimented very well. As you can see BABY, THEY DID NOT SKIMP AND THEY YOU CAN SEEE THE MEAT/SEAFOOD in the fried rice! For the price I paid, definitely worth ordering again!!"

"We enjoyed the food a lot! The woman working there was very kind. We had the drunken noodles and basil fried rice and it was delicious. We also enjoyed the fried ice cream. The only thing is that the Thai iced tea was not as good as others I've had. Portions were also a bit smaller than regular thai places. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+"

"We have been coming here for years. It's one of our few restaurants we go regularly. And if you like Thai food, there is no reasons that you won't like this place. My favs are Pad Thai, Chicken Nuggets, Freshy Rolls, Pad See Ew, Tom Yum Soup, Yellow Curry, Khao Soi, carrot cake (and a few more dishes). Oh and French fries. They are super crispy! I can assure you that these dishes are great. They recently upgraded the interior. I actually didn't mind the old school decor but it's contemporary now. It's a small casual restaurant so I wouldn't have a party or plan a romantic date there. hahaha Everyone is kinda quiet.Even if you are not vegan, you can still enjoy their food."
