"We had been at your restaurant once before for our Anniversary and had a 5 star experience- food, service etc.We had had the honor of meeting Scott and won a copy of his Book. He has also supported our cancer charity and made it a special occsion since our 30th anniversary also celebrates my husband's 30 year survival. We brought friends last night and were welcomed warmly and ordered drinks, appetizes.but it was downhill after that. Waited for the waiter to take our order an excessively long time. I asked about the spice level of my entre- Bplognese Meat sauce/pasta. I have a medical condition and can't tolerate spices. I was told it wasn't. The food was spicey but had to wait till another waiter showed up .When someone did and I re-ordered, the other 3 people had finished their dinner, which was awkward,,also one person ordered fish, she found bones in it-the cod. The re-ordered food was the same. So, they apologized and didn't charge me for it. Not the kind of service or response I would have expected Sad, because none of us will go back or recommend the Americano. I don't think Scott would be pleased about this.
