"This was our second visit to Black Sheep. On our first, about 6 months ago, we thoroughly enjoyed the food it was imaginative bar food. But, our server was rude. This visit, our server was very friendly and pleasant. We thought the menu had been cut down quite a bit. The food was OK. The real problem was that we had to wait a very long time for our entrees, and when we did get them, half of them were lukewarm at best. It was a disappointing experience all in all, and enough to prevent us from returning."

"We came here for date night last week and it was really great, i probably came here last back in the 90's, the food and service was top notch, every dish we had was unbelievable, the space is nice with exposed brick and it really feels like you're in another city, because honestly the food scene in dever is lack luster. Dishes are below. Char Siu Pork Belly* yuzu aioli, orange, cilantro Hand Cut Beef Tartare* beef tenderloin, capers, parmesan mousseline, frico, quail egg, lemon vinaigrette Greek Baby Back Ribs oregano, lemon peel, rosemary, olive oil Madras Grilled Venison* duck fat frites, rapini, ginger roasted oyster mushrooms, cherry port reduction two things that are not on the website, the small plate artichoke hearts and the smoked fish app."

"We decided to let the restaurant choose for us and selected the Vesta Sampler. We asked the server to suggest wines as well. Each wine was a perfect pairing and the food was unbelievably good. Each bite of each dish brought something fresh and new to the mouth. It is worth coming to Denver just for this restaurant."
