"Can't believe it's taken me so very long to try Banzo's falafels. I visited the cart at Library Mall. I've read so many wonderful raving reviews I decided I had better give them a try. I ordered the traditional falafel in pita bread. I was so disappointed. Ok, I'll start with the positive. The falafel balls were delightfully soft and moist inside. There was plenty of toppings included in the sandwich, like chopped salad, pickles, and your choice of sauce (yogurt, hot sauce, or tahini). My complaint: salty..... very, very salty falafels. I don't know if this was a fluke, or the norm. I kept hoping that biting into the plentiful garnishes would help disguise the saltiness, but no luck. I didn't find the usual contrasting flavors between the fried ball and condiments. Usually there's that happy dance of complementary differing flavors, but my taste buds never found that. Kept looking for the bright tangy accents. Salty falafel balls, salty pickles, and even salty...

"I've always kind of been on the fence about everything I've had from Banzo with the exception of their falafel. I got really excited because this location delivers to my workplace, so I decided to give it a shot. an hour and a half later, with no fewer than 3 calls from their driver to my phone as I tried to get my work done, my food arrived cold, and incorrect. I had phoned the restaurant once during the hour and a half I waited (my delivery time was quoted at around 30-45 minutes), and the woman who answered, while polite seemed pretty unconcerned. I don't think Ill be giving these guys another shot."
