"Copper Canyon Grill is the sister or brother to one of my favorite spots, the Stanford Grill. I met up with fellow Yelper, Sylvia A., for dinner here during a recent visit back to Maryland. Copper Canyon Grill has pretty much the same menu and vibe as the Stanford Grill, so I don't have many complaints. Since I was so familiar with the menu, I decided to try something I never tried from the menu before. I got the short smoked salmon, which came with mashed potatoes and a vegetable. Sylvia ordered these Oysters Rockefeller, which were a special that evening. I got to try one and wow! Those oysters were so good! I'm not even a big fan of oysters, but that dish was amazing. It wasn't prepared the traditional way which really gave it that wow factor. I really enjoyed my salmon dish. I also got a spicy pineapple cocktail. I don't remember the name of it, but it contained rum and really didn't have much spice at all. Before leaving, I had to get a slice of my favorite key lime pie to go. Overall, I had a nice dining experience here. The service was nice and I certainly wouldn't mind returning."
