"Good coffee, friendly staff. I had an exceptionally good bacon egg roll here once but that was some time ago. The quality of the coffee leads me to believe that the food is still nice."

"Down from Sydney on business, I always check out the ever morphing Canberra cafe coffee scene. Imperioso didn't disappoint, friendly staff, fresh quick food and top notch coffee. Good music and very cool, gold geometric artwork on the main wall all wrapped up...a really nice experience. I'll be back next time I'm in town."

"Went here for a lovely meal 5 yrs ago and it was buzzing. meal was OK as well.However, it is now a shell of it's former self with large areas now unused.We went for a meal, and were very disappointed as the Bistro was closed, and we were the ONLY people in the bar area. Was a little incensed to have to pay $1.00 'visitors membership' been to many Clubs around Oz and never had to pay this !Don't waste your time , go to the Kingston Hotel about 0.5 Km away for good 'Pub Grub'."

"A coffee is stopped here. it is a small caffe with many seats in free. they were in the middle of the lock, so got a takeaway mocha. it tasted good and was for a big coffee."

"Relaxing and Lively. I loved the paneer best and also had a soft spot for the lamb. Nana bread was appetising but I did find the Goan fish curry a tad too sour. The lady host was friendly and engaging. It was a nippy night outside and there was a boisterous lad's big night party in the bar section. The children must have loved their butter chicken and special coloured rice. The birthday bloke at our table could not get the goat curry he was eyeing for. Licensed, it had a healthy crowd on a Saturday evening. Overall I was happy with the tastiness of the various gravies and the whole experience."
