"This restaurant was recommended in a travel magazine. For a couple on our honeymoon, it was a lovely restaurant for a special meal. The building itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated and while the interior is dark wooden chairs and white table clothes it is the type of place where smart casual attire is entirely appropriate. The food is largely Italian based and we thoroughly enjoyed our three courses. The wine recommendation to accompany our meal was great. Our waitress (who according to our bill was Mandy) was excellent at providing suggestions and was proactive, attentive and very friendly she is largely responsible for why we had such a lovely evening. Would highly recommend for a special night out."

"The ambiente in the mostly moderately visited italian is typical and appealing, the menu is well filled. the expectations are correspondingly high. what then lands on the teller is made of high-quality Italian ingredients (the operator has a fine-cost shop around the corner), but both quantity and taste are then rather unsatisfactory. for in the middle 7,50 I expect a neat portion lasagne (instead of a small square of 10x10cm) and the pizzas are also rather poorly occupied. there are much more ambitious Italians!"

There is a huge selection of typical drinks and foods, with the latter always having the impression that they are completely self-made components. I did not want to take the risk, because it must be economically worthwhile to raise such a large object, says Wirt Maik Kosiol. Finally, the restaurant remained closed all year 2021. Now the movement could come back to the whole. Because in November there was a Council decision on the building rent for the property. Because the property on which the place is located belongs to the city. The City Council decided in 1992 to grant ownership in inheritance. So the reason is still the city, only the building went to the farmers. By the end of 2021, 25,000 euros of inheritance were due per month. However, the current city council decided to reduce it to 11,000 euros per month, so that the whole can be operated economically. The plan of Maik Kosiol is now to take over the inheritance contract. We have already applied for this in the city and are waiting for feedback, he says. The city has not yet expressed itself on request. If he succeeds, he wants to reopen at Theaterplatz in April. In the spring I want to reopen the beer garden, says Kosiol, who runs the object together with his wife Janet. Even in spring he wants to run the café again, only no longer under the franchise concept of the dairy girl. But still as a café with breakfast. The restaurant Stadtwaldschlösschen on the ground floor will follow in the middle of the year. Among other things, there was the Stadtwaldschlösschen-Bier in Dresden. The drink of the traditional brewery is presented in the Schankhaus. In 1866, the first municipal forest castles opened at the Postplatz. The brewery in the main house on Bautzner Straße produced and imported beer for the Bavarian style at the time for 30 years on behalf of the Actienverein der Societätsbrauerei zu Dresden, so that a second place was sought for a break. On the ground floor the Milkmaid Coffee House also opened. There was breakfast and coffee and cake. Upstairs they led the Brunetti Centro, an Italian restaurant. At the beginning of 2020, the building site on the theatre square and the Augustus bridge made life more difficult. In fact, the construction works before the restaurant should be completed a long time ago, but they still take part. “When the new construction site was built exactly in front of our beer garden last summer, our sales decreased by 50 percent,” says the host in early 2020.
