"The upper restaurant with magnificent view over luzern and the lake. the restaurant is located in the hotel montana. the easiest way to get to the hotel is the stand cable car (free and fun, the shortest stand cable car in Switzerland). the food was delicious and the service was very friendly. a great place for a romantic dinner or a jubilee to celebrate. next to the restaurant there is also a jazzbar and a smoker lounge. there were several vegetarian and vegan options."

"The staff was so nice and friendly, and even though we had to wait a little (the restaurant was very crowded), they apologized for it and the quality of our meals was worth the wait. We’ll remember this place for our next trip to Lucerne."

"We were at the Palace for the spa and because of the rain we decided to stay for dinner at the Marlin. I hadn't read the reviews which was unusual for me but the spa, hotel and bar experience were top notch so I had confidence going to the restaurant. What a treat! We were early 6:00 pm so there was only one other table occupied. We received world class service from Livia who was attentive and professional. The presentation is part of the experience. The fish are brought to the table uncooked on a silver tray for you to inspect the freshness. We chose the sole. Livia recommended the champagne sauce and a side (the one with cheese) I don't recall the name of it. Livia plated the fish at the table and was very skilled. Amazing, delicious meal. From appetizer,bread, main course to dessert it was magnificent!!! It was expensive but well worth every cent! I will be back when I return to Switzerland."

"Although we came without a reservation they managed to squeeze us in. The staff were extremely friendly. Specifically the thai lady. She was so nice and we had a good conversation she made us feel welcomed. We ordered 2 pastas and both of them tasted AMAZING ! Highly recommend"

"My family met a nice person at Schilthorn, who recommended that we go here for dinner while we were in Luzern. We are so happy that we followed his advice. The dinner and ambience were amazing. We were served by the youngest brother, who treated us very well. My younger son had their house pizza, which he declared was the best pizza he ever had (and he's had plenty! . My older son had the pasta with truffles. Amazing! I had the frutto mare, and added some spice powder as recommended by another brother. Amazing as well. My wife also enjoyed her dinner. We also split various appetizers, which all were perfectly done. Their white wine from their own vineyard were a super complement for a summer night as well. I want to thank the nameless nice person at Schilthorn who recommended the place. One day, I'll find out who you were. Thanks! I understand from the younger brother that you a frequent guest, and we'll make sure we visit every time we are in town. Thanks also for all the other advice you provided! Thanks to all!"

"I don't even know where to start. to be honest, it is the worst Italian restaurant I was so far. after the view of the menu we decided to order a margarita pizza and a risotto agnello. after ordering the main courses, we asked for 2nd glass lead water. shocking, every decillator of tap water is 1chf, and every glass is 2.5CHF... when the main course arrived, we were speechless. the pizza tasted terrible, the teig was not present. my risotto. terrible, 4 pieces meat and a tonne risotto. it was a catastrophe. Everyone who's up there, please walk."
