"We have been eating here several times now, since almost 4 years. The food is really good and the atmosphere is cosy. I would definitely recommend the pleus a la chef (grilled mushroom with garlic, sage and olive oil), our favourite starter. Pizza is ok (not excellent but decently good), but there is much more on the menu that is definitely worth trying! People from the staff are friendly and the owner is always going around and chatting with customers. In summer, get a seat outside if you have a chance and you´ll have a scenic view over the market place and the castle. Fair prices, a bit more expensive than the average italian restaurant in Germany"

"We were brought to Zur Sonne for a very relaxed business dinner, while expecting a place for tourists with typical dishes such as schnitzel we were positively surprised with a fascinating choice of lamb, fish, steaks and veggie dishes. The flavor was nothing else than fantastic, I can easily say some of the best in Germany since I live here for 7 years and have tried food all over Germany. The ambience is the original old house which fits the city. Prices are a bit on top of the average but it is totally worth it. If ever here again will comeback for sure! Thanks to the chef and people there for the nice time."
