"What a treasure! Great family business, we needed an easy to eat something for our ride back home. They made us a delicious ham cheese sandwich and we got a couple cookies. Absolutely will go back to try more goodies. We met the Mama, I bet she has a lot of great stories from all the years they've been there."

"It was my choice and book the Valentine's Day restaurant this year. And boy I am glad that I have secured reservations for Mario's Place for us, a Zagat-rated jewel against the Mission Inn in Riverside. Mario's chefs are very talented. All we tried last night on their Prix Fixe menu was perfectly prepared and pleased for the eyes and palates. Can't wait to have another time back to enjoy live music and more of their offers. I know I won't be disappointed."

"On Friday February 21, 2020 around 6:30 PM, my family and I arrived at Woodfire Cafe located at 3965 Market Street, Riverside, CA 92501) hungry and tired after a long day at work. We were excited to try their Pizza! To start with the parking was a bit complicated... there was no parking on the street so we decided to park in the back and drove along some creepy dark alley. Many warning signs of towing were posted. It seem that that parking belonged to the sex shop Romantix located adjacent to the restaurant. Since we didn 't have any other place to park at, we took our chances but were nervous and worried that our car would get towed throughout our stay! We walked in and the restaurant was about 75% full. We found one table open towards the back wall and sat. About 5 minutes later a young lady approximately in her 20s) with curly dirty blonde hair shoulder length greeted us. She asked for our drinks. My husband ordered a Budlight and my son and I ordered water. Soon she was back and dropped off the drinks so far so good). Five minutes later she came and took our order... we ordered calamari for an appetizer, one Cochinita Pizza, one Hawaiian Pizza and a Stromboli. Here is where the nightmare starts... 15 minutes later my husband finishes his beer, my son his water and the server has not stopped to check on us. We patiently waited another 10 minutes and still no server. My husband finally flagged a male server he was wearing all black and had a beard) he asked him for another Budlight and he was kind enough to get it. 15 more minutes passed and still no server and no appetizer : We are getting antsy now. Again we waited 10 more minutes and still nothing on our table... no plates, no utensil, no napkins, no refills. We are feeling ignored. Finally the same male server confusedly brought our appetizer he almost gave it away to another table). We were grateful to have something to eat! 15 minutes later we finished the appetizer and still our server has not checked on us. I walked up to her and told her that we needed service and felt neglected. As she typed on a computer screen she said I 'm sorry about that and continued typing with no eye contact and no real remorse. Then I asked her about our pizza. I told her that the two table next to us that came AFTER us already got their pizza and we still haven 't gotten ours. Then she said Oh it should be up in a minute and continued typing. So I returned to my seat and we waited again another 10 more minutes and still no pizza!! Ugh we were really angry by now. I went up to her again and that is when she discovered that she LOST the ticket! That our pizza order has not been placed. Urrg! I wanted to scream but kept my cool. She said I just informed the owner a man with a sturdy body, white hair and glasses) and he is placing it now I saw the owner shaking his head and was obviously upset about what just took place, but still didn 't come and apologize to us. We sat at the table hungry and mad and still waiting for our pizza. The server comes and gives us a lousy excuse that she was busy with other customers and I told her We are customers too! We told her to cancel our order and she still took another 10 more minutes to get our check for the beer and appetizer we ordered. Overall we waited about 2 hours and got no pizza. The service was HORRIBLE. I honestly think the server was on drugs because she was not all there. She kept messing up and was inattentive. She also messed up on the tickets of the table next to us and had to fix and refix their receipts and it took her about 30 minutes. I am so disappointed. Will not come back again!"

"I was working in the area and decided to stop in and give Bella’s a try. The atmosphere of the restaurant is not very inviting but they say don’t judge a book by its cover! With out anywhere to sit in the restaurant I ended up eating on the tailgate of my truck. Turns out that might have been better then eating in the building. I forget how nice it is to be outside sometimes. I ordered the Italian sandwich. It came with a drink and bag of chips. While I got to pick my drink (Pepsi products only) I didn’t get to pick the chips. The sandwich was very tasty and satisfying. If I’m in the area again I’ll be back."

"Maddilicious Catering was the vendor we enlisted to cater all of our food for our wedding in September of 2019. I personally had found out about Maddilicious Catering through a work event in Citrus State Park. Little did I know at the time, but Maddilicious would be who my wife and I elected to use for our wedding. Maddilicious was kind enough to have us for two separate tastings in their Riverside restaurant to get a truly thorough overview of their endless options from appetizers, sides, entrees, and even desserts. All of our vendors were outstanding for our wedding, however I want to highlight how great Maddilicious Catering was. Led by Jessica and Executive Chef Maddie, our entire wedding guest list was treated to exceptional taste and quality of food, yet with a beautiful home-cooked feel. Maddilicious was responsible for all of the food at our wedding and also dining ware. They offered a huge appetizer station which included a myriad of simpler bites to coincide with our hand picked appetizers. They offer a variety of dinner options from a meat station, seated dinners, or a buffet. The buffet is what we elected for and it worked out wonderfully. People throughout the night of our wedding raved about how tasty the food was. We also had Maddilicious offer a cobbler station to go along with a variety of other desserts and boy was it tasty! Simply put Jessica, Maddie and their team were all stars on our special day. Food is one of the most important things people will remember your event for. For our wedding, we could not have been more satisfied and pleased with Maddilicious as our caterer for our special day. Jessica, Maddie, and the entire team, we sincerely appreciate all your hard work, your professionalism, and the amazing food you catered for our wedding!"
