"We've just had a wonderful meal in The Red Lion it was definitely nicer than my recent meal Farringdon's Bleeding Heart Bistro (and this as a very good meal), and I'm happy to report that it has returned to the same standard not seen in more than 5 years (since 2018). I'm half minded to make this an appalling review, just so I can keep The Red Lion for myself; but the reality is, that we've just had the nicest pork and chorizo burger, and lamb with dauphinoise potatoes. Highly recommend the sticky banoffee pudding, although next time, I think I'll switch the custard for ice cream. Thanks guys"

"Great dinner on our first night in Canada but although listed as located in Canmore be aware that it takes about an hour to get to the beautiful lodge up a rocky road with wildlife everywhere. And the menu changes based on availability of fresh vegetables and wild game purchased that day. Everyone gets same appetizer and same main entree and desert but it was refreshing to be surprised and not have to worry about what you would choose. It is truly a gem in the Canadian Rockies"
