"I have never written a review on a fast food restaurant before for two reasons, never go to fast food restaurants and have always considered them sub-par. I just had to write one in this case as I found myself in a situation where I needed to stop for a breakfast item because I was starving and really pressed for time.I knew A&W offered eggs on their menu so when I drove up and saw the English muffin version of bacon and eggs I decided, what the heck. I was very surprised.The muffin was toasted perfectly and the bacon nice and crisp! Eggs were cooked to perfection and I just gobbled it up. I even stopped again a few days later, just because. Same excellent sandwhich, just as good as the first one so obviously not a flook.When I returned to my home town I decided to stop at my own local A and W hoping to get that same great taste, but alas, not to be. The muffin wasn't toasted enough and the bacon was undercooked. It was also an annoyingly long wait.Whatever your doing, Courtenay A and W, keep it up. Looking forward to the next time I'm in town!"

"Domo Sushi is one of the best sushi restaurants in the Comox Valley. This place is constantly buzzing with people that are either ordering in or picking up to taking out. I frequently order take out from Domo and have always had positive experiences. My order is read back to me, ensuring that I always receive what I have order, especially with important keys items such as the distinction between wild and farmed salmon (you know you have found a quality place when they actually have the option of wild)! My choice rolls are well made and always withstand the travel home without falling apart (major bonus points!). I have always enjoyed the freshness of the variety of rolls I get from California rolls, Dynamite rolls, Spicy Salmon rolls and wild (sockeye) salmon and masago nigiri. Coming from the city of Vancouver, with its vast choice of sushi restaurant options, I am happy to say that Domo not only compares, but also surpasses quite nicely! Yo go Domo!!"

"I have been to Plates before and had a good experience and good service. Today i got the smokey brisket hash. I was expecting one of my favorite comfort foods. Instead of delicious brisket i got shaved deli meat that tasted like corned beef or mortadella. Too salty and no smoky flavor at all. I asked the waitress and she reasured me it was brisket."
