"What a hidden gem!! I stumbled across cafe 12 for dinner one day and was so pleased with everything I had. I got the green curry with chicken and beef lasagna, both which were excellent. The portions are very generous, so make sure you’re hungry. Chef Andre is also the nicest human alive and makes you feel so welcomed the minute you walk into his shop. He even made me a green salsa/hot sauce to go with the curry which was divine. I certainly will be coming back, especially to eat at their upstairs patio."

"Had a great roast and a great afternoon in the howl am mond, recommend camembert followed by the whole damn farm. unless you are not eating meat, in which case the Veggie-Samenloaf is delicious (I take my friend's word for it). Irish music jam session in the evening after. great. I love the other Bacchus Sundays, but I might have found a new favorite."

"Oh what a joy to behold a restaurant that makes an effort to put more in the veggie burgers than cheese and lettuce. 'The Vegetarian ' burger was a real treat to have after work, and even though it 's worth £6.50 with no sides, it 's well worth the go anyway. It 's right next door to Shoreditch High Street station with lovely staff and even the unique wooden cutlery is cute. This a perfect place to grab a bite. Just make sure to get there before or after rush hour to get a table inside to shelter you from the cold!"

"I hadn't been to Floyd's before, as it's slightly off the beaten track, hidden behind the bright lights and bustle of Kingsland road. It was highly recommended by a friend, so I thought I'd check it out and, my word, I'm glad I did! My friend and I both had starters and mains and shared a dessert. I had the in house smoked pigeon breast, followed by the Rib eye steak both delicious and wonderfully presented. My friend, a vegetarian, had the asparagus followed by the courgette linguine she was thrilled with the thoughtfulness and creativity of the veggie options. We shared the prune, caramel terrine as inventive as it was tasty. The service was both attentive and relaxed. I really can't recommend this place enough. God bless you Floyd (whoever you are! ."
