"Unbelievably bad and impossibly slow service. Waited over 45 minutes for four toasted bagels. We inquired 4 times. No updates or apologies from any of the 7 staff present. Twice, (after we inquired when the food was coming (30 minutes later) someone came to the table to tell us our original order wasn’t available. We finally left after almost an hour, with no food.Doesn’t matter how good the bagels are, if you can’t even get them. Waste of precious vacation time."

"This is modern buzzy fascinating unpretentious restaurant minimalist with small touch of decor. It is not trying to be smart, but creates a modern almost bistro cafe appearance to downplay that it means business when it comes to its kitchen We took the four-course surprise menu, although they kindly allowed us the cheese board as we felt dessert was quite rich, how often the case in Canada that I find strange where the previous dishes are so tender. As Pescevores we enjoyed the octopus and cod both beautifully presented and cooked to perfection with subtle shrimp. As a non-candier we are struggling with the application of the service, as it contradicts whether you pay the service to taxes and for wine, which is not prepared and we have been presented here with various perspectives, but it has not distracted from a great evening."

"I ordered the chicken(poullet) poutine. It was pretty tasty although I think the chicken was processed. I loved the limonade but kind of pricey. Overall, a good afternoon break."

"We had a late lunch here on a Friday. The atmosphere of the area is nice. We ate outside. The server was happy to work with us in English. We both ordered off the breakfast menu. I thought my portion was small for the price,...but my hubby’s seemed more reasonable. The dessert deserves 6 stars, not five!!"

"I have dined in this restaurant before, and expected 5 star service, but it fell short. The dining room was about half full, and our 7:30 reservation started as planned on time and seated at a booth. Great view, piano playing but the waiter was preoccupied by talking to other waiters. I ordered a flambe pasta, and the waiter started cooking, then left to get ingredients, then vodka, then pasta, then pepper constantly leaving the active burner unattended and cooking. The end result was overcooked pasta. Then as we sat eating out two dinners, our waiter joined a table of guests and shared a shot glass with the 4 guests seated. Shocking unprofessionalism. We wanted to order desert and a cognac to finish the evening but gave up waiting for the waiter attention. Finally I walked to go get the waiter for our bill to leave. Romantic evening was ruined by an unprofessional and bad conduct waiter"
