"Intrigued by the long Flammkuchen list displayed outside the restaurant, we decided to give the Em Kroenche a try. My initial worry that it would be difficult to find a table without reservation quickly vanished as we entered the restaurant. There were empty tables but...not too many, so it didn't feel like a dead place. The ambiance is a bit oldfashioned, but not necessarily in a bad way it definitely feels German. I ordered a bruschetta and a Flammkuchen chorizo and manchego. The Bruschetta was good, but I was a bit disappointed with my Flammkuchen. The chorizo was actually some sort of pepperoni and wasn't really spicy. There was a bit of cheese on the Flammkuchen, and I trust that was manchego, but it could have been anything. I could not really feel the cheese. One reason might be that the cook seems to like putting a lot of Lauch on his Flammkuchen way too much if you ask me. Anyway, the result was not bad per say, but not really what I had expected. I wish my Flammkuchen had real chorizo and more cheese a fair demand for a Flammkuchen. If you really want to try their Flammkuchen, maybe you should go for a more classic variation"

Food is great, service very personal and just everything works out fine at Devona's. Must visit when in Dusseldorf. Please make reservations in advance, or you will be disappointed"

"There were enough free places there and there was also only one table reserved. the restaurant is clean and you are served flott. we were four, and the two noodle dishes were both cooked. pizza was so thick in the middle that it was very soft and liquid. lachs was good.In the restaurant it was unpleasantly hot warmed, despite the open door and outside only 18 degrees. Conclusion: there was one among many pizza restaurants that there is everywhere around the corner. we are not going back."

"The concept of Vapiano is that you get a card which you use to order your food at different booths. At the end of the evening you pay on your way out. We got at this particular Vapiano early (17:00) so there was still plenty of tables to choose from. Despite that, a lot of tables still had old dishes on them that weren't removed.If you're not familiar with Vapiano, there are no waiters that order your food or drink. You need to get them yourself. That makes it difficult with larger groups (to find a table) and most of the time someone is away. The food is freshly prepares in front of you and tastes good. We had 2 pasta's which were fresh. The sizes are decent.I had the red housewine which tasted great! Different pasta's, pizza's, salades and anti-pasti can be ordered."
