"Wir waren zu Dritt zu einem italienischen Kochkurs (über VHS gebucht) angemeldet. Das sehr überschaubare aber gemütlich eingerichtete Lokal wird von Giovanni Tangaro mit sehr viel Liebe und Authentizität geführt. Weine, Würste, Käse, Öle und viele andere italienische Spezialitäten können direkt am Platz gekauft werden, da sie quasi als "Dekoration" allgegenwärtig im Lokal platziert sind. Schnell wird einem Bewusst, dass hier in Saarbrücken ein echtes Stück italienische Kultur und Lebensfreude eine neue Heimat gefunden haben. Um den Kochkurs und das Lokal zu bewerten, zitiere ich Giovanni's Antwort auf die Frage, was beim italienischen Kochen unerlässlich ist: Gute Zutaten und ganz viel Zeit!"

"Vom Essen über den Wein bis hin zum Service war alles perfekt.Leider habe ich nach Vorspeise und Hauptgericht keinen Nachtisch mehr gepackt.Schade, da der Nachtisch dort auch ein Gedicht ist .Vorspeise : 1. Baby Calamari auf Ruccolasalat ( wie immer , da unglaublich lecker !) 2. Jacobsmuschelspieß auf Tomaten, Hauptspeise: 1. selbstgemachte Strozzapreti mit Rinderfiletstreifen und Pilzen in deiner Soße, 2. Rinderfilet mit Steinpilzen und Tagliatelle ( hervorragend !).Gerne und hoffentlich ganz bald wieder !"

"The best Italian Restaurant in Europe I have ever found in a long time. The food will come rather promptly and you’ll never be kept waiting longer than 15mins. The price is most reasonable, for instance almost all pasta fit in the range of €9-10 always served with bread, with a variety of choices (unlike other restaurants you’d pay €15 or €16 for) The two waiters who are nice old men, keep good attention to every guest in the restaurant and will not ignore you when you need them like many other waiters do. I was staying in Saarbrücken for 2 weeks and had my dinner ever other night. I liked it that much."
