"They have potential, but aren 't quite there yet. I went during dine-out, they weren 't busy yet the noise level was booming since there was a dance-off event going on below us. I wouldn 't recommend this for family settings, but more for an exciting night out to drink. My appetizer, lobster shrimp dumplings were misleading as they turned out to be deep fried fritters which left us all dissappointed. The main I got (duck confit) was mediocre, fried crispy skin and on the bland side. (The other mains I tried off my family and boyfriend tasted a lot better! However, they each had one thing they felt was 'off ' about their dish such as the risotto being undercooked) I got a chance to try each of the desserts and the chocolate trio was again.. mediocre. I enjoyed some aspects of it while also seeing room for improvement, especially the lava cake which was not lava at all. I was excited for the deep fried mantou with matcha and sesame condensed milk, which is a fool proof dish however they somehow watered down the condensed milk. The matcha dip was lacking, the black sesame was good. The buns were covered with a layer of salt on top which could have been a cool innovative touch if it had been lightly sprinkled, however, they lathered it on causing a much, much too salty experience. The cocktails we had were average-good, but again nothing to blow you away. Overall, I 'd say Bambudda is a hit-or-miss and they have a lot to work on. For the price point and lack of quality and execution, it 's not worth your money. If they can improve I 'd love to go back and try as they have creative ideas but for now I doubt I will be returning."
