"My heart feels like a one ton weight has fallen on it. KFMX ran a story that King Street Pub was closing and I just had to go. I was devastated… I first came to eat at KSP in 2018/2019. I was in love <3<3<3 the music, the decor, the food, the drinks, the overall ambience… I ordered The Tikka Masala with chicken each time. Then Covid hit. The Tikka Masala had been taken off for a while and my heart broke. Then they brought it back, I was taking it to go during this time, and I thought all was right in the world… then I got a salary cut and I couldn’t come as often as I had liked and was working all the time. I received the news Monday and I had to stop by, I made the reservation. Josh was my server and was such a delight and attentive(even though I wanted to cry eating my Tikka Masala thinking to myself that it would be the last time I would be eating my favorite dish and drinking these splendid mock tails). Ashley and Mary made my mock tails and I have got to say, they have such talent. They are true mixologist and the top tier of the trade. I wish everyone from KSP the absolute best and I want to thank you for all the wonderful sensory experiences throughout the years. I will miss you all and you cannot be replaced…"

"I loved this place for years. Buttered Masala was my favorite... I'm gonna eat it for a last time because the staff wouldn't put it on the table, yet say it was ready to go for over 10 minutes. In an empty restaurant, I should have taken that as a red flag. Not that I have expected a lot of this place since the Paste Curries, especially the Tikka Masala, were deluted tomato soup. Reduce food value and now customer service. There are more restaurants in Lubbock, save your money and time, go somewhere else."

"My fiancé and I ate here and had the Tikka masala and I had the spicy original curry with steak. The food was delicious and cooked very well. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere of the place was to our liking. We like to eat here whenever we are in the mood for some Indian food. I highly recommend the same for anyone whenever they venture down Milwaukee Ave."
