"This is the best Indian food I had in years....the dishes are not casual, so great for diving Nan Bread and the flavors are just delicious. Nice staff....not pressing, but still attentive. Really nice coffee later...we accepted this restaurant as our new family love. Oh... and it also has thick carpet on the floor that makes it cozy and much less echo / noise than hard floors. Just brilliant..."

"Both the food and the service were really fantastic. We were trying to find somewhere to eat and we were far too late for most places (after 10pm on a week day), but the people at Himalayan Spice were so welcoming and we didn’t feel rushed at all. All the food was really good, but the nann bread was up there with the best we’ve ever had and the king prawn purée was superb. Would highly recommend."

"My wife and I visited on a Saturday evening at 5.30 so first in and our first visit. On sitting down the first thing you notice is the appalling state of the place. It was filthy. There was a extension lead by the window almost black with grime, food on the floor the decor in need of a dire luck of paint and the place a total clean. We were going to leave but I was recommended this place for the food. And you know what, it is quite good. Tasty balti, very good portions and a good price. Please lackys, clean, paint and make the place attractive and welcoming and more people will come. Unfortunately until then I won’t be back. A real shame. Sorry"

"This is the Indian take away we use, service with a smile, generally we have chicken tikka masala, chicken damask, mushroom rice pashawar naan bread 2. Never had a bad meal. Always been fresh and hot."

"My friends and I have been visiting this restaurant for our evening meal every Monday for a long time. The service has improved a great deal in recent times and it is now a real joy for the three of us every week. The food is delicious, excellent quality, nicely cooked and excellent value for money. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We are served very quickly now, never having to wait long at the counter and the meals arrive at our table very quickly. There is a lovely atmosphere at the Stannary Court which is an iconic reminder of our Plympton history with time-based decor and lovely pictures on the walls. We really enjoy our visits. A special mention to Ryan, a most charming, cheerful and helpful young man who always understands what we want. His colleagues are also excellent as well."

"We ordered two curries for delivery last night. Knowing it might be busy as it's a saturday night during lockdown, we ordered early, at 5.30pm. 2 HOURS LATER the curries still hadn't arrived. We phoned and the person we spoke to said they were being cooked right then. 20 minutes later we phoned again and they were apparently still being cooked! We cancelled our order as 2.5hours is just too long to wait for a curry!"

"Have visited a number of times and the food is always impeccable! We went for Christmas dinner 2019 and the food and service was amazing! The menu was detailed and had lots of choice, not pre order was needed so you could choose on the day! I've attached photos but they really don't do the food justice. It is amazing!"
