"This place has a great central location in an old, characterful building, but the atmosphere is oddly stuffy and formal for what is effectively a pizza restaurant. That stuffiness and formality extended to the service, which was not the friendliest. The starter we had was enormous (king prawns on a spinach base) and reasonably good if not exceptional. The pizzas were disappointing, however I’ve had far, far better in Germany. They came out completely overloaded in cheese which made them quite heavy and unappetising to eat. Dessert was fine, but again nothing special. All in all this wasn’t a refined or particularly tasty meal and didn’t warrant the relatively high prices. I certainly wouldn’t rush back."

"This place looked great, the pizzas smell fantastic, and they looked very authentic Italian. I couldn't judge it as poor because of the inflexible staff that was very dogmatic. There were several tables empty and many replacement seats, but we were told we could only eat there with reservations. That was very sad for me, it was like a birthday to see the cake, blow out the candles, watch that it is cut, then it was said that I was not entitled to eat any! Sad, but true!"
