"My first time at Grappino and this has to be one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The service was attrocious. No one greeted us or was even standing at the entrance. With an almost empty restaurant, our drinks order took 20 minutes to arrive, and some of the drinks were missing! The food was average and also took long to arrive. The waitresses were not attentive, and busy with other tasks while we waited for missing and incorrect items. The lights then went off mid meal! Apparently the restaurant runs on pre paid electricity and it had run out! That is appalling and something I have never ever experienced before. 12% gratuity is included in your bill, which you aren’t told about (and which the staff don’t deserve! and then you overpay and have to be refunded. Absolutely shocking and atrocious dining experience and will never dine at Grappino again."

"Good looking venue with good service. The breakfast menu is small but some really good options. The sourdough bread with smashed avo is a winner. The real surprise was the toasted veg, cheese and pesto sandwich which was awesome. Need to go back to try the pastas."

"A charming eatery in this busy little centre. A team lunch brought us here. Service was great, with the manager ever present. Drinks orders were swiftly taken as each set of guests arrived, and promptly served. Next came the ciabatta with olive oil and balsamic, and butter. The only gripe at this point was that the butter was too hard. The ciabatta was delicious. We went straight onto mains. The dishes arrived nearly in unison (one pasta dish arrived a minute or two later). All the food was piping hot and went down really well. Us girls didn't have much space for dessert so we called it a day. It was a pleasant afternoon."
