"We had 2 great meals here, both evening and lunch as a stop during a beautiful walk across the country footpaths. Really lovely service ..couldn’t do enough for us and the food all freshly cooked and tasty with interesting selection..can recommend stuffed peppers and chicken pie. Good beer. We called ahead to let them know we were arriving as large group and had a relaxed time. Hope to be back next time we are in the area.."

"For a small village restaurant it does get very busy at times. (Phone and book a table). The staff are great. Very friendly and professional. The food is outstanding. Full of flavour and they are not shy on the portions. Come away with a full belly and a smile."
