"We agonized about whether we should celebrate our anniversary at home or with dinner, which we have done for 35 years prior. Finally we decided on the latter and were happy with the result. My first comment is that the restaurant was prepared for patrons...during the COVID pandemic. Staff were properly masked, sanitizer was available and the tables were very widely spaced. Other guest wore masks when not seated. As usual, the menu was varied and we have great choices. I had veal piccata and my wife had lasagne. Previous experience caused me to ask for less sauce on the meal, which was done and tasted better. My wife liked her lasagne and there was enough for lunch the next day. We paired the meal with an excellent bottle of Bordeaux, at the sommelier's suggestion. Service was excellent and not at all pushy. All in all we enjoyed our evening. Just for information, we have chosen not to go out since, so the memory is all the more important."
