"The restaurant was so cold, no heating, it was also a really cold outside day, so hoped to eat at a warm place, so that not enjoy the food, long wait for dessert, although it was only about 6 customers, the 2 workers who were on very nice."

"The food here is of a decent standard but the prices are ridiculous. A medium sized breakfast bap of bacon and sausage is £4.70 or £6 with egg and mushrooms. Please note these are the take away prices you have to pay substantially more should you choose to eat in."

"After being pointed to a table people had just left from, we were notified it would be cleaned-no problem as it was busy so we took a seat. After 10 minutes, we requested the tables was wiped and pots cleared and if we could order. We were told they didn’t know we had sat down and it was someone different we needed to order with. Finally the one staff member who could take order came over to take our order and advised we could only order drinks, food orders would be taken later. We received our drinks promptly, but still unable to order food. Eventually food order was taken, by the same one staff member After 1hr of being there our food arrived, where a large full English has a tiny amount of beans (24 to be exact as we counted due to how shocked we were) a after asking if it was normal and if we could have a few more, they brought us some over…. Time to pay… realised we had been charged for the extra beans!! A very expensive breakfast place where I would only recommend if you have 2hours to kill while waiting. Everyone ok tables around us had been waiting over an hour also…"

"This welcoming cafe and bar succeeds in being warm friendly and unpretentious whilst also being modern vibrant and exciting. During the day the decor and the atmosphere give you a warm cuddle, cosy on a rainy day with a sun soaked terrace for warm days. It feels safe, clean and cared for. It is spotless and up to the minute yet classic and classy. Dogs are welcomed as are children and babies and nursing mothers. In the evenings when they open they have live music and special treacle Sundays on the days when the Treacle market is on. Booking for these events is essential as they are popular. The bar is extremely well-stocked for all tastes and staff are knowledgeable. And the food!! The food is fresh, locally sourced when possible,prepared on site and caters for vegans and vegetarians too. My flatbread was divine and my husband had a chicken and halloumi salad that was gorgeous. This was not our first visit as we usually eat here when we get the chance. It is a real treat and it won’t break the bank either. The value for money can’t be beaten locally. I would recommend it to everyone but please don’t all visit at once as I wouldn’t get a table. Booking advised at this time to ensure you don’t get disappointed. Covid guidelines all adhered too. 10/10"

"Had a big day breakfast and it was nice. well cooked, spided, butter and beautiful jam. my partner had a home that was made fragile again beautiful. the personal was friendly and offers an excellent service. would definitely return and highly recommended. Thank you."
