"My first and last time at this place only because I'm huge on how customers are treated! I placed an order and was called by the male asian to come up and pick up my order. Although I ordered a meat platter w home fries he mentioned he also gave me an order of hash browns as well. I left the restaurant, made a couple stops before making it home. Went to warm my breakfast and I had pancakes along w other stuff I didn't order. Went all the back to BLT Grill and the female Asian noticed me and said that the male asked if I ordered pancakes and I apparently said Yes, basically trying to blame THEIR error on ME. Obviously she was thinking of another customer because that never happened. She then attempted to give me an order that was sitting on the bottom of a shelf and not refrigerated. I asked for a fresh order because it had been a while since I was last there. I sat to wait for my order but decided to just get a refund. First you lied to and about me and said I said something I didn't say, when I called you out on it then you admit you never even hear the conversation! You also attempt to give me food that had been sitting on a shelf for who knows how long. PLEASE!!!"

"Fresh Vegetable Plate Welcome Relief After Weekend of Overindulgence. My stomach thanks me for the 'Fresh from the Montgomery Curb Market Vegetable Plate with meatloaf and Creole Sauce I provided today at Shashy 's. A little pricey at $11.50, the quantities were ample and the cornbread (my specialty) was served warm and with a pat of REAL BUTTER!!! [So sick of 'Promise ' spread other places use. The only think it Promises is to make me gag] Noticed they also serve breakfast now and the menu looks really good as do the bakery items in the display cases up front where you pay. Highly recommend this place for lunch."

"We went for brunch because Shashy's was the top hit on Google for brunch in Montgomery. Unbeknownst to us they only do breakfast which ends promptly at 1030, we arrived at 1045. Our party of 8 were the only ones in the restaurant with the exception of one couple finishing up their breakfast. All of us ordered sandwiches as we were a little short on time and figured this would be simple for the kitchen. We didn't get our food until after 1130. 3 of our orders were incorrect, but they happily and quickly corrected the issues. The food was good, and the wait staff was very nice. But if you're going there for a quick bite, it's not going to happen (unless they read this review and make some small changes) they did have a sign for hiring a dish washer so I'm assuming they're short staffed by 1 in the kitchen. It wasn't exceptional, but we did not try their bakery which did look exceptional. Maybe visit for dessert and coffee for a better experience."
