"Volcano’s Mexican and it's friendly staff consistently serve fantastic authentic-style Mexican food that cannot be beaten. Over the past few years, I have always struggled to find an authentic Mexican restaurant that offers excellent food in the Norman/OKC area. After receiving a recommendation from a friend, I hesitantly visited Volcano’s due to some skepticism I had from its building’s appearance. Little did I know that this outing would lead to countless future visits leaving me with the utmost satisfaction. If you have not tried this restaurant and enjoy authentic Mexican, please give it a shot! I imagine you will be pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavors of their food! Food Recommendations 1. Enchiladas (Shredded Chicken) (definitely try combination plate #2) 2. Chips and queso (or guacamole) 3. Tacos (Shredded beef) 4. Flautas (Shredded Chicken) 5. Tostada (Shredded Chicken) 6. Tamales (Pork) Generally, I am not the biggest fan of the NON-shredded (fajita-style) chicken. Shredded typically is the way to go. Hope this helps, and I genuinely recommend this wonderful place!"

"A lovely little spot to enjoy a good breakfast! Even on a busy Sunday the girls were quick to get us seated and our drink order. They had a nice variety of breakfast and lunch options and are Vegan friendly. Our server was very polite, fast, and friendly.The food was piping hot and absolutely perfect! The coffee was absolutely amazing and just one cup had me wide awake????I wouldhighly recommend this Syrup to All of my friends and family as the service was phenomenal!! A+ A+"

"Have never been let down by this place! Every time my husband and I have came here has always been phenomenal food paired with exceptional service. This time we happen to meet the chef, Anthony Compagni. What a treat!!! Such a down to earth guy with a huge love of food! I had the Grilled lamb rack with a scalloped potato that was melt in your mouth delicious! My husband had the Chilean Sea bass that I kept stealing bites from because it was so good!! The chef brought us dessert that was so good that I couldn't leave anything uneaten. Perfection all the way!!"

"The food quality has really diminished over the past 6 months. It used to be my favorite place. The General Manager is awful and apparently doesn't care about his restaurant. Recently, I found something in my food and just wanted the plate replaced. I was being very kind because I know things happen but the GM treated me like the dirt beneath his shoe. I apparently took him away from his buddies at the bar and that annoyed him. I will not go back. I wish it had not changed. I used to love the food and atmosphere. Not anymore.
