"Had a vegan version of full English here with a friend. Its a huge portion and cooked fresh to order. Staff were helpful and friendly. For the breakfast itself they serve the veggie sausages that are made out of potato and veg and with other items such as hash browns, fried bread and beans it does make it a bit carb heavy. I'd have preferred it if they used some of the meat replacement sausages instead. But it was still good if a little greasy. The caf itself is quite basic and very busy with builders etc. But it's really reasonable price wise so not surprising. Didn't know they did a vegan roast too must go back and try it!"

"Visited with a friend for afternoon tea on a miserable, drizzly Tuesday afternoon (the day after August Bank Holiday at 15:50. Greeted by what I presume was the proprietor with a caution that the place was closing in 5-minutes and we were offered take-away service only (i.e. no good afternoon, what would you like? . Other guests were seated, eating and drinking. The weather conditions made the take-away offer unattractive, so we walked out. Neither my friend or I will recommend this cafe unless there is an improvement of the management attitude towards customer service and, I suggest, reconsideration of the closing time."

"Excellent food this is my go to place for a god cooked breakfast. I find the big breakfast box to be excellent value for money and decent size bits of toast not cheap thinly sliced bread. Free cup of tea with hot meals makes it even more better value. I will be visiting frequently."

"We had a lovely table in the window. The service was fast and the waitress was extremely enthusiastic. My husband 's small English breakfast was fine. I enquired whether the vegetarian sausages were vegan and the waitress said they would be, as they are made out of vegetables. I should have clicked them ,as I 've been served this type of 'sausage ' in the past. They 're the cheapest, catering mush available: a squishy mix of peas, potatoes etc in batter. I tried drowning them in ketchup, but it didn 't help and I left them. There are so many delicious vegan sausages around nowadays and it 's such a pity to spoil an expensive breakfast."

"I had a really unusual brunch here it was a roll with avocado, marinated tofu (in marmite I think) with mushrooms and it was super tasty! I also took away some freshly made chocolate cake and it was epic."

"We were just walking and came over this place. it was a great sound. my man and I ate both, though only a toaster and a speck and a worm sandwich. the service was friendly and very efficient and prices very reasonable. we will definitely return. can not wait to lunch there on Sunday. Thank you."
