"We were staying in Saskatoon, in a new area and were looking for a restaurant. We drove down 22 and into a mall type parking lot, and saw this restaurant. There were numerous vehicles outside, but when we went inside, there were only a couple of tables of elderly folks, and a whole bunch of friends in the back. We decided to try anyway. Ordered a Hamburger delux, and a hamburger steak. So glad we did. The burgers were home made, the steak came with baked potato with real chives & Bacon bits, sour cream, and vegetables. Also included soup or juice. and garlic toast. The hamburger delux was your regular burger, but the bun was toasted, and the burger cooked just perfect. It was very tasty.Including drinks and gravy, the meal was only $21. Was reasonably priced. It is a neighborhood, family restaurant, and the food certainly tasted homemade, and not your basic chain restaurant food. Would stop again. Not a huge menu, ambience is your basic family restaurant. Oh - but get there before the entertainment in the lounge starts, unless you like to be entertained..."

"I found this place Manos restaurant to be very interested in their vLT machine players other than us sitting on the restaurant side waiting for our food which we were very hungry for and they were paying more attention to the people drinking booze and playing VLT machines other than taking care of us so it was a bad experience!!!"

"Restaurant is dated however the staff were great, friendly, customer service was exceptional, the food well that's another story, it was awesome, the hamburger I ate was big, juicey, not dried out, gravy a bit floury but otherwise great. My thanks go from the owner...to the dishwasher, great place."

"Really fresh and affordable breakfast. Ordered the 'hungry man ' which consisted of pancakes, toast, sausage, eggs and hash browns. Sausage patty was homemade and very tasty! I definitely recommend!"

"Our family went for breakfast for the 1st time to try the place out.The place was somewhat small but very well kept and full of hockey memorabilia.Our food came out fast ... the plate was full beyond what we could eat. Our coffee cups were never empty are she came around often.The listed prices included both the coffee and the tax .... a complete meal for under $7!We will be back."

"Chose the patio to have dinner. Not sure if the server was just having a bad day or what.We were seated in good time then sat waiting for some time to give our drink order and had all decided what we were going to order not only for drinks but for dinner as well.The server finally showed up and only wanted to take our drink order and not the meal one. We ordered our drinks and then sat drinking them for some time before she showed up again for our meal order. We all ordered and she left without taking further drink orders considering two of us now needed drinks again.Meal comes sometime later and we weren't asked for further drinks.We ate most of our meal when the server showed up to see if we wanted more drinks. We gave her our further order and off she went. Sometime later she showed up with the drinks.Now my meal was bbq ribs and I expected either a lemon bowl or wet wipes. I received neither. I finally got our servers attention and asked her about it. She said she would bring me a lemon water bowl. She never showed up with it. Food was very good but because of the absolute poor service, I will never return."

"Service and atmosphere was very good, but someone has dropped the ball in the kitchen. Standards were way down to the level of unprofessional. The ribs tasted like they were pre packaged and were extremely dry. When we asked for more sauce the kitchen put cold barbecue sauce on them and sent them back out! The salmon was also very dry/overcooked and had to be returned twice because it was inedible. We also had the prime rib, which was tender, but lacking seasoning and extremely fatty. And, having ordered the crab and asparagus add on, what a surprise to find it was not CRAB, it was POLLOCK. The waitress (and manager) confirmed this without batting an eyelash. While it said “crab” on the menu they admitted that they actually use a “combination” of real and fake crab. If this were Bonanza, that might be ok, but when people pay extra for that in a fine dining restaurant, they expect REAL CRAB. Pollock is also made of gilled fish, and is very dangerous to substitute (covertly) due to allergies. They’re luckily no one has had an anaphylactic reaction yet.Overall was not a good experience, which is sad because we thought the Granary stood for quality. We won’t be back."
