"We spent s lovely evening at Banks Bistro this week a small group of friends. Our waitress was lovely efficient, helpful and friendly. The food was exceptionally good and very good value too. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a quiet relaxing evening."

"Me and my fiance, visit the retro diner frequently, and the breakfast is the best, top quality products used and the price is really low. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The only downside is the coffee is instant and the water comes from a hot...water urn, but otherwise I would highly recommend this cafe when your in Shirley. The credit crunch breakfast is only £2.95 with £1 for a hot drink. This breakfast is before 10.30 but if your on a low income, who can grumble, you couldn't go anywhere else for the same price and quality."

"Sadly the menu is now almost completely vegan and so does not cater to vegan-free customers. Coffee is good but we would rather go somewhere more inclusive."

"We came here for a birthday meal. it was very quiet with excellent fast service and delicious food. beautiful atmosphere and very pleased we came here. we were very fully appreciated after our starters so that we could order a pudding instead of a main....We would definitely recommend."
