"Excellent meal service was a bit slow but this is one of the best restaurants in VA Beach. Shrimp scampi was tasty, special fried Flounder one of the best, and fried shrimp here is fabulous. The Ahi tuna is always outstanding. All four of us thought it excellent."

I hope that more people will discover this place. prices are very low, but eating is high quality. beautiful atmosphere, clean and friendly. waiting service needs a little fine tuning - they either float too much or if they are busy, they need to have a little more attention. that is too low to lower my comment that I love this place but."

"Been coming here for over 20 years. Ok, as far as an old town favorite goes... it is a great place for breakfast and pie. I have also grown quite fond of the grilled chicken avocado sandwich with grilled peppers and onions. They could use a makeover to upgrade for the downtown Pembroke renovations but overall it is a family cafe and lots of business any time of the day or night. My favorite pie is the 4 layer one with Chocolate mousse, cheesecake, coconut pecan, whip cream on a very flaky crust. For some reason I love their crust. "Me and my friend went here for a late lunch before we went shopping and it was so good! another friend of mine had recommended it to me so i was pretty excited. I ordered the cinnamon apple waffle and my friend ordered the peaches and cream waffle and oh lord it was heavenly. the staff was quick to let us know that hot drinks were free today as well because it was their anniversary so we got two!"
