"This restaurant exceeded our expectations which was tough given we’d already read its reviews. From a very passionate and friendly host to exceptional food, we will definitely be returning soon. My friend, who has enjoyed many a vegan/vegetarian meal in his life, said the burger was easily the tastiest burger he’s tasted! "My hubby and I had lunch here on Wednesday 7th June 2023 at 12.10-12.50... It was quiet when we arrived. We enjoyed all dishes. Spicy Pork Dub Bap and Bibim bap are to die for (8.90 each with rice and veg). Bento Set is 11.60 with choice of chicken/beef/pork served with rice, Hot Crispy Chicken Ball, Chicken Wings, Gyoza amd some veg. Self service soft drinks are 1.50 each. Best Asian restaurant in Bournemouth. Yummy, fresh, reasonably priced, great hospitality, good portions, cozy atmosphere with 4 tables for eat in. Only 10 minute walk from Oceanarium, Bournemouth Beach. Will definitely come back again. Love this family run restaurant. Highly recommended"

"We went to my daughter's birthday two weeks ago. The decor is very rough and ready and not very welcoming. We ordered a mix of dishes and made clear what we wanted. The waitress reads the election back to us to confirm. Half the food came and then we waited for 10 minutes to come to the other dishes. When it came, one of the dishes was not what we ordered and another dish was missing, so the waitress had to go back and get us the right food. That was another 5 or 10 minutes waiting while the rest of our food went cold. I think we were charged extra for the court that we had not ordered that we were sent back. When the bill came, it was much more expensive than I expected, but since there was no postal code, I couldn't check. I wanted to ask the bill with the manager, but when it was my daughter's birthday, my wife didn't say to question the bill, but just to pay and go. PS. I was very upset that my wife actually left a tip!"

"A few weeks ago I visited the Liliiput branch. Last Sunday I visited the big brother branch on Poole hill. Naturally the two restaurants are very different in size…lilliput is small, cuddly, locals, and more..bournemouth is big, manly, look at me, I will feed YOU!...And don’t YOU forget it! The waitresses never seem to stop..lots of hungry customers this Sunday night. Being a group of four we all wanted something different. I went pending curry with coconut rice…it was lush…I remember the Katsu curry being a favourite, a# was the green curry I had a slurp and bit pee pow pow for me. I love this small chain of restaurants, and OMG They do takeaway too…massamans that time and it was so delicious I just wanted more n more, Would I go again or takeaway again? Too damned right try stopping me!"

"New change of ownership. the Korean fried chicken is authentic (better than all ghost kitchens out there, who claim to sell authenric korean fried chicken) and the Korean poor one was tasteful. the seafood pancakes was faty but still taste great."

"Absolutely LOVE JB's for having a great vegan menu! We ordered basically everything to try for our first time. The battered sausage, tofish and chips were delicious. Found that the pea fritter and banana blossom fish were nice, but a bit too plain. Would definitely order again, so good to have this option for a yummy takeaway."
