"I wandered in wanting a snack, but found the staff didn 't know what was vegan their menu only has a symbol for 'vegetarian '. One item (a brownie) had 'vegan ' in the description and the waitress said it wasn 't, which was confusing! Also things like the apple pie were apparently not vegan. So my options were limited, but in the end I got a nice turmeric latte with coconut milk and an acai whip with fruit. It was nice sitting at the wooden bench out the back in the sun, watching the ocean. It 's table service only, and I waited ages for the acai whip, but I was on a long weekend chilling out so it didn 't matter. The only other disappointment was that the acai whip came in a disposable cup (with 'compostable ' spoon I 've heard these actually take ages to decompose) even if you 're eating in. All in all, not really a vegan vibe here, but good enough if you 're in the area, and it 's a nice setting, with no traffic, and an ocean view out the back."

"We could have breakfast here as we were a few years ago and really enjoyed it. apparently the business has changed since. we were greeted to several empty stainless steel display cabinets and a few sick looking cafe elements under it....The astroturf and neon lights in the cabinet did not help. while the caffe relatiw was empty, the noise at the place was almost impossible to talk to the person next to them. a juice and coffee bar in the same room as the tables do not help, and the juicer is extremely loud and interrupt when it is in use. the decoration is delicate and somewhat dated; there is no real contiguous style and there is a cold industrial feeling to the place. the couches in the corner were once modern red plough, but are now scattered and look quite rough. coffee was quite bland, bafflingly received a long black in a huge cup so it was quite watery. the meals were overpriced and quite normal. we all ordered at the same time, but the meal times were brought apart some time. while they were quite nice, they were nothing to rave. the brote who came with the breakfast were a farewell they looked and tasted like something they would get from the 7 11 next door. overall, the magic apple offers a tempting drawing card as it is one of the only places to offer full organic vegetarian and vegan meal times, but you could do much better from a vegetarian or vegan option from a mixed caffe."

"My fave centre...easy 1 level walk , all i need is here, easy park, friendly staff, definitely recommend kimono on the outer is a super friendly sushi where all plates are 1 size and agadashi tofu is sensational best one in the gc re health , Matt at Mr Minit is definitely tops . He goes beyond most to help follow through. Top shops."

"During our four weeks in Burleigh Heads, we bought a number of take always from this place. Never disappointed. Our favourites were the Jungle Curry, which we chose spicy, and the Singapore Noodles, again spicy. We like our food "hot". The service is speedy and friendly. The portions are huge, I got two good size meals from my noodles. Highly recommended. There is seating, and you can dine in. When next in Burleigh will certainly return."

"We ordered takeaway some time ago and stated that there is a capsicum allergy so there isn't to be any in any of the dishes. We checked the top couple and they seemed OK but when we got home, there was capsicum in one dish. I called and they advised I had to return the dish, for a refund. So, we were left with the option of heading back down there, which would have been another 30minutes, or go without that one dish. If we'd gone back down, we would have had a cold meal. There was no apology and when I took the dish in, as proof, the cost of that meal was refunded. Anyway, we thought we would give them a second chance and ordered over $100 worth when we had some friends over, clearly stating again that there was to be no capsicum or seafood. When the food was collected we started to check and the woman at the counter stated emphatically that there was no capsicum or seafood. Well, surprise, surprise, when we got home, there was capsicum in not 1 but 2 of the dishes as well as seafood and ham in the vegetarian noodle dish we ordered. I have emailed twice but not even so much as the courtesy of a reply. As a result we won't ever eat here or from here again and encourage others to do the same. How difficult is it to get an order right in the first place and then if there is a mix up, provide some form of apology and a little bit of customer service. It is a shame as the other food was quite nice."

"Happened across this little gem as we were searching for cheap and quick. Ended up enjoying some of the nicest fish n chips on the coast. I had Barramundi and beer-battered chips and hubby had crumbed flathead. The tempura was awesome and the seafood was obviously straight out of the water fresh. We will definitely be back. Prices were more expensive than average but the quality warranted it."
