"Since the original brother and sister mr ho owners sold the restaurant, quality and service are on the hill. the first time we had a reservation, but we had to wait 45 minutes. that never happened to the old crew that runs this business. they have also cut corners in the food they buy to cook. definitiw not as it used to be it, the familiar family friendly setting is gone, and now it is cut neck"

"We recently stayed at the Hilton, and so picked up some food from here. It is located in the ground floor of the Crystal Mall, and has a clean and simple decor. I was a take out customer, but saw the waiters stopping by tables frequently enough, and was served promptly when I walked in.The food was quite good- I had a single order of Cumin Lamb, my usual go to Szechuan dish, and ordered an extra scoop of rice. The Bill was CAD 17, which was reasonable IMO, and in retrospect the extra side of rice was un- necessary - adding that extra "scoop" for CAD 1-2 filled a medium size take out container to it's gills with rice - probably enough for 3-4 adults !In my limited experience, it appeared like somewhere I would go again."

"Shaxian Delicacies is a relatively new addition to the Crystal Mall food court! They seem to be popular because see alot of people getting stone bowl noodle soups from this stall! Since I was with my mom we both got two different versions of their noodle soup, one in beef, and lamb, two of their most popular! Beef Version (Oil Noodles) 2.5/5 stars They ask you how spicy you want your noodles, and we both went with mild. Let me tell you, this was NOT mild. At all. It was borderline HOT. I could still handle it though but for those of you who are really sensitive to spiciness, ask for none haha! It was so spicy that it really overwhelmed the other flavours of the soup. On top of that, it made my tongue kind of numb haha. You also get to choose the type of noodles you want I went with the thick oil noodles and my mom opte"

"I have a business diner with people from around the world , it is so hard to find a elegant Chinese restaurant in Vancouver ,with great service ,and authentic food ,I read so much about this place , so ,great opportunity to check it out , ,it is very upscale Chinese authentic restaurant ,very elegant and NOT CHEAP ! ,very clean ,the best of the best ,I order the set dinner menu (around 600 $ ) ,it is excellent ,the presentation and the service is A1 , the lobster is so fresh with the noodle , perfectly cooked , a lot of street and casino parking ,very safe and easy to find ,it is excellent place for meeting or wedding , not a place for young kids or babies ! my bill comes to over $900 .00 and 25% tips ! not Cheap ! for ten people ,but it worth every penny ! Lunch is lot cheaper , so ,try it out ,for real elegant Chinese food !"

"They have good selections of dim sum dishes. However, congee and noodle from dim sum menu isn't good, taste is bland. For traditional dim sum dishes such as shumai, sticky rice, cheong fun, chicken feet, shrimp shumai are delicious. The place is crowded when we...had lunch there due to boxing day. Price is more expensive than the one we had in Richmond."
