"We came here in search of a change to the many, very similar menu del dias on offer in Gijon. For food, you go down the stairs at the back of the cafe into a basement room, which lacks a bit of atmosphere to be honest. The menu was reasonable, although not all the dishes advertised on the menu outside the restaurant were available. We had some stuffed burritos to start, which were pleasant enough. The mains were a bit more disappointing, with the contents of the stuffed aubergine varying from warm to cold. I think the microwave wasn't up to the job. The desserts were nice, with the usual cheescake type things on offer. The food was a bit disappointing and lacked any real imagination. I agree with an earlier reviewer that they could try to offer more contemporary food. Having said that, it did make a change from the endless meat based dishes and might prove the safest option for anyone who is vegetarian trying to eat out in Gijon."

"We asked for guacamole (come with homemade nachos,) vegan quesadillas and vegan tacos (texturized soy in green sauce with cilantro) that were accompanied by guacamole and another salsa. while waiting to be served put some nachos with spicy sauces, a gesture that is to thank for the consideration. older people have all kinds of typical Mexican drinks. very friendly and pleasant waiters, very close. when asking the quesadillas to keep in mind that they fill enough."
