"I recently went to Favorite Indian Restaurant in Hayward for the weekday buffet. It was a solid buffet! Plenty of vegan options. My favorite dishes were the Saag Spinach, Bhindi Masala, Vegetable Biryani, Idli w/ Sambhar along w/ the coconut chutney. Kudos for having sliced lime slices raw sliced Serrano chili peppers w/ seeds on the buffet to add some heat if you like. I would loved to have seen Saag Tofu aka Spinach Tofu Samosa added to the buffet. Bollywood music videos played on the television added a nice atmosphere."

"I love this place; it is close to home, tasty, affordable and tonight, beside the beautiful poinsettia plants, I have tried a donburi, I had not before and it is perfect with my glass chardonnay. Thank you. sushiland for such a friendly and welcoming place to come!"

"Very popular Thai and Vietnamese restaurant that has a few dedicated vegan items on the menu, but also list dozens of dressing it can make 100% vegetarian. we tried the vegan noodle suppe, which is a Vietnamese style pho and it was excellent, filled with perfectly cooked vegetables and a delicious brew. for other dishes we have only asked to ensure that they have not been added fish sauce, oyster sauce or anything else on the basic. we loved the Papaya Salad, which was made medium-spicy, and the lemongrass a la carte dish with fresh tofu. (see photos. the prices are very reasonable and they have parking (although it was almost in capacity. very pleasant interior and attentive service. much better tasting than top thai. we will definitely try again! updated by previous review on 2019-05-13"

"I've only done the order online and takeout once. And during this pandemic, its a take-out process which turned out exactly as it should. The entire order was correct, the boxes were packed to the brim with food. Everything was packaged up and ready to go at the time they said it would be ready. The $20 family meal was a tremendous value. Thank you Panda Express!"

"House Special Tofu is excellent. Silk Squash w/ Dry Shrimp 開陽絲瓜 is great. Tainan Style Sausage 台灣香腸 is pretty authentic and delicious. Spacious and comfortable setting with huge ancient Chinese Qing dynasty painting on wall."

"This place is a little tricky to get to. You have to walk to the side of the alley and go up stairs/elevator to get to the restaurant. It's a little weird but once you get into the restaurant, definitely has a high end vibe. We were greeted by a nice lady. She seated us outside as per our request since it was a nice day. My husband and I had a good experience here. We ordered some things that were from their specials such as, kanpachi kama (amberjack fish cheek), sea urchin nigiri. And other stuff from the menu such as monk fish liver, sweet shrimp nigiri (with fried heads), sweetheart roll, and lion king roll. All are small portions but with a very nice presentation. Everything had great flavor and high quality as each dish melted in your mouth! I really recommend the Kama as it was perfectly crispy, meaty and not overly seasoned. It doesn't come with rice, so I ordered that separately. It was definitely a pleasant experience and I want to have these dishes again ."
