"First time trying 1919 for reunion dinner with friends. Great ambience and the service was superb. Must try their signature eggplant dish recommended by their staff who was well-versed in their menu and even the historical setting of this restaurant. We had the set banquet menu and every dish was delicious. It’s a gem to be found in the centre of KL city centre and they are halal. No doubt, will revisit in the future."

"A decent number of vegan options available, so nice to have a variety of dishes to choose from. Portion size is quite generous too and prices are very reasonable. Many books to browse made it a perfect afternoon. You can bring your old books to swap with the ones on the shelves."

"Small buffet with delicious food, vegetables, tofu and mock meat, perfect for a quick lunch. we had two quite fully charged plates with rice for 16 myr together (see photo) when we approached the address, we were afraid that it is not there, but actually it is in the backyard and is accessible from 3 sides, as well as from jalan do hs lee and jalan gereja. just go into where they see a few eating stalls and they will find it (from a side sign hidden behind a yellow)"

"I bought a 12 pack juice box here. the expiry date was on 10 December and I drank the mandelmilch this day, but it was not fresh so I had to throw it away. I was also not informed that the expiry date was when buying. I also bought the blueberry goji coconut granola from here and the ingredient said it contained a kind of honey. I called the place to ask if it was flower-honey or bee-honey, and they didn't know and told me to send an email to the company that makes the granola. I hope they will inform other customers when the expiration date approaches the juices so that the customers will know. but overall, the few of the 12 bottle juice I drank when I just bought was delicious. la juiceria and the honest treat are at the same place. updated by previous review on 2016-12-18"
