"A historic restaurant where one can find a variety of indigenous Balinese cuisines in its pure form. The waitresses are very cute and smiling. The taste of the food are also good. Old photographs put up on the walls of the restaurant which tells the story of the place gives another taste. There was also a framed picture of the President of Indonesia visiting this place in December, 2017. If you want a taste of Balinese food n history, visit Made's Warung, Legian."

"Have eaten here many times, the atmosphere isnt really special, its more of a tourism setup, but some the food is exceptional. The prices are on the high end and I mean high for Indonesian food, but still we go there mainly for the Sup Iga and the must try Pepes Nila (this is just the best I have tried in my 21 years) they really steam the fish with an abundance of herbs, an absolute must try at least once, its the thing that brings us back beside not really liking the venue or prices so must be good. They do offer free water and refill, thats a plus, but you still feel obligated to order a slightly overpriced drink"

"We had two breakfasts and two dinners. we asked for vegan breakfast on the booking request form for the hotel. at our first breakfast, the chef (executive chef) sat together with us and discussed our preferences, mentioned a whole series of dresses that he could cook for us, including traditional Balinese banan dishes, crispy tempeh, filled tofu, gadogado (damped vegies with peanut chill sauce), curries, suppen. we asked the crispy tempeh (i.e. cuttepeh in a ricebatter, no ice, deep fried). it was delicious. the ambiente is in the Bainese style of the high bambus roof with ceiling fans and without walls, surrounded by lush vegetation, very beautiful. there are also vegan options on the standard menu and breakfast buffet, so we could eat very well. highly recommended if only for individual attention and the effort taken for our needs."
