"Mai Tai Cuisine (Thai, Western)(highly recommended if price is of no concern to you) 157/84 85 Moo 5 Pattaya Naklua Road, Pattaya, Thailand On the west side of Naklua Road a bit south of Soi 18 038 412 164 Listed at Vegetarian or Vegan Friendly Restaurants in Pattaya in Thailand Beyond [hidden link] Nice décor A/C Hard seats with no cushions, 28 inside and 16 on patio Dining friendly live music playing on the patio and can be heard inside as well. Very friendly waiter. All the wait staff were highly skilled and attentive with their service. They have a 5 page vegetarian menu as well as some veggie dishes mixed in to the main menu. Nice touch they brought a gratuitous bowl of Corn Chips Salsa – unusual salsa was made from diced veggies and sweet like ketchup – tasted okay Samosas (3 tiny ones) 185b Oily but really good flavors – both the dipping sauces were tasty – they are not really samosas, they are spring rolls shape like samosas with no Indian style fillings or spices. For vegetarians and vegans they are happy to modify dishes (no oyster, fish or chicken sauce – no MSG) gives lots of options. Kale 100b Seaweed Salad 60b Spinach Fried with Agorie 120b Fried Broccoli 100b I had the following: Vegetarian Fried Rice 80b Had about 40% brown rice mixed in. Nice flavor. Pure vegetarians beware they put egg in this dish unless you tell them not to. Carrots, peas and corn from can or frozen. Mapo Tofu 110b Ask for vegetarian style. Very good flavoring. Enjoyed Organic Cauliflower 90b Very nice sauce Dry-Fried Green Beans 120b small portion for price very spicy but good flavor under the spice Mango Pudding 60b WOW! This was delicious! "This place has just been opened a week (August 2018) and we checked it out last night. The place is large and beautifully set out. A range of amazing foods including Thai, Chinese and Western (Cauliflower cheese and a pasta dish when we visited). A salad shabu bar. Collect your chosen ingredients and make your soup at your table with your electrically heated pot. Everything including some amazing flower teas, a tea coffee bar and they even have a shelf of goodies to buy. Loved the whole tasteful lay out. The staff are so so welcoming and attentive. The food tasted great but we thought that the buffet food itself was cold. It has only been open for one week and we put that down to the lack of immediate customers. There is a special charge for August B299. Next month it goes up to set price of B359. Going to be a regular for us. Updated from previous review on 2018-08-08"

"After travelling for a while I was craving for some good home cooking. I turn to Govindam due to their reviews and 100% pure vegetarian food. I was really looking forward to good food and hospitality. There were two girls from Finland who came after me who were treated by loyalty. The owner attended to them several times checking if everything was ok, and never blinked an eye or smile at me. I spent more money then them combined. I was very disappointed with his hospitality and the roti. Traditional roti are supposed to be paper thin and light. This was half way between a proper roti and naan bread. I am leaving a feedback on happy cow as he was keen on getting the girls to leave a review. I hope he learns a lesson from my review."

"It is a large restaurant, very picturesque. Can eat on the beach. Good menu. I had a ribeye steak (300g, also a Thai fish dish and vegetables. And Dessert. Plus Calamari and 3 drinks 2430. The food was good. The rib was very delicious. Margarita and the long iced tea of the island needed more alcohol. I'm returning, it was a good dinner. Only negative, they close too early to 9p."
