"We got to our hotel late, and went a few doors down. The server was shy but welcoming and came back with it quickly, and just as I like it, nice and fresh."

"We booked a table from 10 to dinner on the last day of the cny. at the arrival the place was not filled with diners as I expected. we ordered 9 dishes and when they arrived, we were disappointed as the navals were...relatively small. The worst braided swarm was on a pumpkin . the pig pieces were almost all fat. the only two dishes I enjoyed were the crimped chicken soup and bitter melons fried fish. I didn't like this at night and the bill was expensive. will I have gone to dinner? I have to take a rain check."

"A small but warm, friendly family restaurant that makes you feel like you're eating at home. Staff are very friendly and service is very efficient. <br/ <br/ We ordered a vegetarian Massaman curry and a pad Thai. As my friend is vegetarian it was great to see how accommodating they were to dietary requirements. Food was nice, wasn't anything special but was satisfying. The curry was sweet and thick, and pad thai isn't overly sweet like many other Thai places. Portions were good for price.<br/ <br/ Overall we had a pleasant dining experience at Mayura and I would definitely recommend to others."

"Was part of a large table booking for a celebration. Didn't hold much hope having read reviews. Firstly, the staff were absolutely wonderful! Very patient, always with a genuine smile and very fast service. Only comment is they assumed we knew the ordering process etc, no explanation and left us to flounder at the start.The a la carte all you can eat food itself was a hit and miss. Noodles were probably the worst being really salty and with an unpleasant taste. The raw fish didn't taste very fresh but the platters came out with a good rice ratio. Agadeshi tofu was pleasantly silky but anemic looking. We all loved the tempura! Delicate, not oily and was very light. Miso eggplant was delicious. The octopus balls were a huge let down for some of us as there didn't seem to be any octopus. Lovely batter not oily but seemed like just mashed potato or something. Dumplings were delicious too!3 dessert choices. Vanilla ice-cream, green tea ice-cream and black sesame ice-cream. Vanilla was unlimited but latter 2 restricted to 1 per person. Skip the sickly sweet vanilla but do try the other 2. Delicious! It was fun trying everything out. Better in a group so can have more opportunity to try dishes. There are warnings wastage will be charged. Can ask for items to be for ie. 2 people otherwise they will bring enough for the whole table."

"I had a brilliant warm coconut rice breakfast creation. Served with fresh fruit, granola and berry coulis. Beautiful. Very good coffee. It was a find I would return to and hit repeat order. 10 out of 10. My daughter enjoyed eggs and bacon.Very friendly staff. Seating inside or out the back outdoors.If I lived in Blackburn I would adopt this spot frequently."

"It’s mostly not halal food but I take the vegetable menu it very limited other than pork is only shrimp that’s it too bad Would like to try teh wonton soup again or just serve with pork so I try the spring roll...and tofu was great but little pricey compare with other asian restaurant in Whitehorse. The place is small and the owner is friendly hopefully they can make more varieties on food and serve beef menu and others thing than pork The ambiance is so so, but there’s panda amenities everywhere so it’s cute"

"We visited this place twice. We ordered the spicy rolls combo and it was so tasty that we went back the next day. The staff are friendly but the counter staff seemed a little grumpy. A smile won't hurt. All in all good food."

"Just collected take-away. Cold doughy spring rolls, pork sweet and sour dripping in fat; paper bag containing pork saturated in fat. Very ordinary sauce. Duckling and vegetables - mostly mushrooms very little duck."
