"For about six dollars you can get a decent little lunch and that's not half bad. Often I'll get a chow mein to go which is filling and quite nice.I've not explored much of the menu however in most cases the prices I've seen have been competitive and the food has been decent.The comments that the service is poor when picking up is true. If you choose to dine in the decor is bland and dated yet clean.Right beside Calabria behind the Dairy Queen."

"My husband and I have been here a couple times and have really enjoyed the dim sum, so delicious! It's close to home too which is an added bonus. It's a great deal if you go when they have their happy hour. We'll definitely be back."

"Got the 11 course seafood combo for only $240. Came here with 8 people for Valentine's Day. Food was excellent, fresh and tasty except a few dishes were warm/chill. Service was good too. Great price compared to the 9 course meal at Kum Koon for $315."

"We have eaten both lunch and dinner at the Huang Pu River and both times found the food to be rather unremarkable. The portions are very generous, the menu huge and the prices very reasonable. The food just didn't have much flavour going for it. It was quite bland. When we went for dinner, the restaurant was quite chaotic and loud even though there were many empty seats. We wouldn't expect our four or five dishes to be served at exactly the same time, but several of our selections came fifteen minutes apart. The waitress, although I believe unintentional, delivered our dishes as though she was really ticked off. We'll give it another try with different dishes and hopefully have a better experience."

"The few minutes of driving are so much time and effort worth. the aromas are so pronounced and powerful, even the mixed greens! we have changed from the closer place. 12 15x ordered last year and were never disappointed. if you like to spice. They'll spoil it."

"First, the service was exceptional. The young woman who answered the phone was very helpful and polite. After she suggested an entree, she took my address for delivery. She recognized the address as a hotel and asked if I would need utensils. I thought this was a nice touch. The delivery guy was extremely polite and thanked me almost too many times. Unfortunately, the food was only average. I tried the Honey Spiced Chicken on the recommendation from another reviewer. It certainly wasn't a bad meal, but just average in my opinion. I was traveling on business in Winnipeg so just wanted something quick delivered. The meal left me satisfied but not overly impressed."

"This is a fantastic Chinese food restaurant. Must-orders include their succulent breaded veal, tender and crispy; pad sew with beef in black bean sauce. Those are both unbelievable and very tasty. Service is wonderful, they provide recommendations based on what you feel like and what you are craving. They also can suggest authentic dishes that may not be on the menu but are in season. Excellent place for Chinese food!"
