"The small business offers sandwiches in subway style: they can choose the ingredients they want themselves. they offer tofu, grilled vegetables, olives, pesto, humus, tomaten. the price for a sandwich (they are quite large) is always chf 10 no matter which ingredients they choose. staff and owners are very friendly and always for a small talk. there are a few places to sit down or they eat their sandwich in one of the nearby parks."

"This thai restaurant offers a very good value for money. The food is too excellent. My whole favorite is the chicken with cashew nuts that comes with a brown soy-like sauce and a bowl of rice. The service is not always the best... as well as the waiting time: sometimes too long. But it's still okay when compared to the price."

"Located in a museum (Gewerbemuseum) in the old part of town on a church square ( which is actually round!) Very small cozy place with ambience and not a lot of seating inside. But on a nice day there are seats outside--great for people watching and enjoying the sun. This visit we sat inside. The decor is interesting--wallpaper printed with old-fashioned tattoo motifs, very tasteful flower arrangement, nothing overdone. Most interesting are the people who run it and the people who frequent the café. Those running it are friendly and happy. Obviously their guests are regulars, educated, peaceful. It is a place of positive vibes.Now to the food--we ordered the Friday menu, which had been created by a Japanese woman who used to work there. Rice with mangold, tofu with a thick miso spread, a mushroom soup loaded with whole mushrooms, a spicy salsa-like salad. We drank Buddha tea. The portion was ample, and everything was quite tasty and the price very reasonable. I will go back here again, and I will take a friend next time to impress him/her with the fact that I know some cool places to go to in this pretty cool town."
