"We came here for a BYO on a Friday night. Staff was amazing and attentive. We were a table of 10 and food came out promptly and quickly. We all enjoyed our meals. I had the soup and everyone else had pad Thai, platter food, rice dishes and we all loved it."

"Went here with the Veggee Crew for the Chief Other Half's Birthday day on the 17/04/2018. From the Stella Artois,GL Maker Pinot Gris through to the Irish Coffee we were not disappointed. Come on<br/ Vegans and Vegetarians fill this place up along with your scummy meat chomping mates there's<br/ something here for everybody. I never thought I would see the day the Veggee Crew were completely satisfied from the 9yr old to the 12yr old and the Head of my Heart.<br/ <br/ Our menu consisted of the Little Creatures,Fresh Sourdough,olive Platter,HFC Pops,Seasonal Veg,Chive Gnocci,Crosscut Fries, Hazelnut Cream,Choco Delice,Choco Cheescake. That Choco Delicio needs to be shared between two people. <br/ <br/ I scored it big that evening so thanks Hector .Friendly staff made the effort. We powered through the entrees and the 9yrs old ordered another HFC Pops which is Tofu and Soya with some cabbage deepfried in a delicious batter.<br/ Give us some New Zealand craft beer Hectors, there has to be someone out there that meets your high standards in our plethora of local brewski makers?<br/ Delicious dessert menu and free valet parking if your meal is over a $100. <br/ <br/ Thank you Hectors and long may you be part of the Auckland Eatingscape!"

"It was my first time trying Korean cuisine and I was pleasantly surprised! Got haemultang kalguksu and Bulgogi. Loved the side condiments with the sweet potato, seaweed salad and kimchi. The beef was tougher than expected but had nice flavor and the seafood noodle soup had generous amounts of crab. Great value for money!"

"I have to say I was impressed with most of what we ordered but very disappointed with one dish... My favourite would be the beef brisket bao: probably the best bao I've had! The beef brisket is slow cooked and then seared, extremely smoky and peppery, topped with gochujang and Kimchi. The Bun itself was really soft and springy and had a slight sweet aftertaste which brought all the flavours together.<br/>The dish I was disappointed with was the curry soup chicken Confit: it tasted like watered down jap curry that you can get at the Asian supermarket, with boiled chicken (which was very tender at least). The veges seemed to be baked? That made the eggplant skin cardboard-like and the enoki mushrooms dry and shriveled. The veges were bland and had 0 seasoning.<br/>I guess I'd only confidently come here just for their bao"

"Best ramen in Auckland, the subtle extras they do like really boiling their broth for over 12 hrs(many commercial joints now use msg premix), marinating theirs eggs in a sweet soy ginger sauce, bbq the braised meat, smoking their mince and stir frying their sprouts for the wok taste gives a perfect harmony and burst of umami to the mouth. We did the rounds tasting the majority of ramen shops and conjure that Ramen Do is still the best!"

"Lovely little restaurant, with nice ‘date night’ ambience. Great and friendly service and yummy food. They had a organic Kaipara Oysters special on and although they were $4.50 each it was very nice, recommend their steamed buns, in particular the eggplant and also pork ones. Their seafood and beef curries are yummy too. On the slightly expensive side as for two people it cost about $120, with no dessert and one drink each. Definitely worth trying for the lovely service and food."

"A discreet restaurant located in an alleyway on lower Queen Street. Standard Japanese interior, reasonably clean. <br/ <br/ Friendly staff with great hospitality, we were provided with hot towels on arrival and the food were quick to serve.<br/ <br/ The salmon sashimi was fresh and decently portioned. The beef tataki was disappointing, the meat was slightly tough, sliced too thick and over flavored. <br/ <br/ The bento box was nice, contained a good variety of food. The tempura was excellent, especially the kumara tempura. Crispy but puffy with a lovely dip. The eel was nicely flavored but too few. The teriyaki chicken was standard.<br/ <br/ Food: 6.5/10<br/ Food presentation: 7/10<br/ Service: 9/10<br/ Location: 7/10<br/ Ambience: 7/10<br/ Price $30 per person excl alcohol<br/"

"Really enjoyed our meal here. We were here after seein the Google recommends for lunch. The place was lovely. We ordered beef cheese and fish Burger. My husband said that beef was superb quality! I only eat fish and veggies; Out of all the fish burgers I had, this has to be one of the best fish burger I've had. Fish was really fresh, firm and tasted wonderful with a hint of lemon salt. Portions were normal sized Over all I enjoyed it very much. PS. The toilets are super spacious, clean and tidy! Extra star for the neat environment!!!"
