"The new year begins and so our food groups meet again. The various vouchers are always animated to try out unknown restaurants. As a start it becomes Asian – Thai and Vietnam are on the menu. The announcements sound good and the phone booking works easily. Already here is asked for a voucher book – OK we have. The restaurant is only inconspicuous from the outside – almost hard to guess. No windows forward that would allow a view into the interior. Just a door and it's going down a few steps. We meet right after the restaurant opening and have free choice. There's not much for a Saturday night. There are only 2 other couples for dinner at 8:00. The youthful service is friendly and attentive. The beverage orders (Krombacher gratis 0.33 for 3.10€ are quickly abandoned. So we bridge the time until our food supply comes up with the study of the menu and paper printer with printed food suggestions. The descriptions are detailed and stimulating. After we're finished and we started the new year, the order is made. As an appetizer, we share both couples roles from the “small Hunger Card”. Two spring rollers and two summer rollers complete the first half of the year. Pho Bia Thod 4,50 € Crispy and filled with plenty of juicy vegetables. Rice for all The start is made of rice for the three curry dishes (Thai? . This is delivered in a ceramic dish with lid so that it remains warm until the end. Then follows the detour from South Vietnam: Banh Canh – a chicken broth with fillet and shrimp. Pencil thick Udon noodles and many herbs flow a pleasant scent. Freshly cooked pieces of chicken fillet are accompanied by biss-resistant vegetables. The eater is satisfied. Chushi Gai 10,90 € chicken fillet with red Curry Gaeng Phet Zapparot Gai 10,90 € Similar to the predecessor, only much more fruity through pineapples. After initial scepticism, the building becomes the chosen “very sharp” for the edible opponent. This is clearly dominant in one or other bites. Gaeng Phet Zapparot Gai 10,90 € chicken fillet, pineapple red Curry Gaeng Keaw Wan Ped 13,90 € For me there is the variant with crispy ducks and green curry – the sharpest variant. I am positively surprised by the juicy duck with crispy coat. The meat is soft butter, the fat layer away and the skin crispy. Super performance – I experienced it elsewhere in all conceivable variants. Gaeng Keaw Wan Ped 13,90 € crispy duck green curry A successful start of the year – and a recommendation from me. A fresh Asian cuisine without the use of glutamate in the curries. The taste remains."
