"I wanted something light and I was in Berkeley for a little bit as part of my trip, so this place hits the spot because they have Thai noodle soup. The last time I had such a dish was in Bangkok, Thailand, which is interesting because a typical Thai restaurant in America mostly does not have the noodle soup in the menu; they usually have pad thai, curry, stir fry, etc. I got #5 with vermicelli noodle which has BBQ pork, ground pork, fish ball, and sliced fish cake. There is a pretty substantial amount of vermicelli noodle and they cooked it al dente which was great. The BBQ pork did not have much flavor, ground pork tasted not too fresh, and the fish ball was a bit mushy, so the toppings were kind of a miss except the sliced fish cake. It is a good addition to have green onion and some fried garlic to enhance the flavors of the clearer broth, even though I ordered that dish specifically because the broth was clear and light.While prices are pretty good for the area $10.50 for a noodle bowl), I hope they update the website because the cost of the items in person is actually around 1.5x more than what is stated on the website. I know inflation hit hard everywhere but it just feels different when you mentally prepare a budget only to realize it costs way more than you think."

"I tried the beef curry and ordered a jasmine rice to go with it, with a strawberry matcha almond milk latte to drink (they didn?t have strawberry on the menu, but mango was in the menu and was out of season). It was pretty pricy for what it was, but tasty. There wasn?t a huge amount of steak but it was cooked nice and medium (on the end towards rare), in a cardboard box and eaten outside it was pretty cool pretty fast which wasn?t ideal. The curry sauce was delicious and had a kick. The dressing on the arugula was good. The strawberry matcha wasn?t great. I?d try it again without the strawberry because it didn?t add any actual strawberry flavor and just made the drink too thick, but I?m not sure that would make it any better, so I might pass after that next try. The food took about 20 minutes, so it was probably made very fresh. They have a bit of seating, only outdoor still and mostly pretty sunny. A restaurant next door seems to have closed, so there are extra tables with more shade. The staff was great and super friendly."

"Most people usually get a pad Thai when they go to a Thai restaurant, and this place has one of the best in the area. I recommend the seafood pad Thai, and the spring rolls as well."
