"A great go to for Thai food. Very authentic! This time we ordered pad Thai, papaya salad, fish and chips, Tom ka ga, and the poutine. All amazing. Good service in a casual relaxed setting. Also if you have a peanut allergy, they are really great about accommodating it.Dietary restrictions: Accommodated peanut allergy by removing it from the dish"

"Had delivery yesterday. I don't think I will again. Curry was totally fine. Gra prao was alright. Nothing wrong. I just don't understand how a Thai restaurant has no concept of how to make a Pad Thai. Probably the most basic and understood dish in...Thai food. It was just noodles and ketchup. Don't want to be an elitist, but I've spent time in Thailand and this was not pad Thai. Not even close. It should be crispy with fresh bean sprouts and green onions. Nutty with peanuts. Sour with some lime. A little sweet. Some egg. Some anything. Noodles and ketchup. Brutes man."

"It always happens - if you approach a place for the first time, based only on a number of rather favourable TripAdvisor reviews - it is easy to get the expectations propped up and potentially exposed to tumbling down.We had Saturday night reservations at 5:30pm, but our theatre got out early, and we were the first table to arrive shortly after opening at 5:00pm. Our hostess, server and Owner- all the same - was very hospitable and welcoming. Although it was the hottest day of the year thus far, we had to ask for water, which we needed. It promptly arrived, in nice glasses and very cold and refreshing. We ordered a couple drinks, and they were nicely prepared and presented. We ordered a couple appetizers and a couple main courses. The whole perch, with their special sauce, sounded nice, but they had run out the night before. We both couldn't quite understand why they would not replace their supply, prior to the start of Saturday night patrons. A few minutes later, as other customers arrived, we heard other explanations of being out of stock. Our impression at this point was that as nice as Jitlada was on the surface, it was perhaps being run on a shoestring budget and not being managed quite up to par.Of the 4 dishes we ordered, the Spring Rolls were the only ones we would order again. The Stuffed Chicken Wings were ok, but nothing special. We had had stuffed chicken wings at Emeril's NOLA restaurant in New Orleans, and while perhaps an unfair comparison, we thought these might come close. They didn't. The skin wasn't particularly crispy, the stuffing just ok and the sauce quite bland. The Chicken and Cashew Nuts had a nice flavour, but there was very little chicken and mainly vegetables. The Seafood Chowder was flavourful, but after all was said and done, we felt we should have just ordered a red or green curry dish.About 45 minutes after we arrived, a number of other tables had filled up, particularly a large party of 14. We were happy that we were ready to head out, as our poor server was on her own and we were afraid things were going to get awfully slow.In conclusion, we would likely order differently next time, and the choices might be very good and better then what we had on this occasion. On the other hand, there are lots of other choices and there may very well not be a next time."

"Legit Thai place with a nice atmosphere and friendly people. Portion is pretty big and their pork belly is a must order. Don’t forget to ask for Thai spicy though if you want it spicy since they do toned down the spiciness for a bit"
