"I was ordering this every day, lunch and dinner. So delicious, but the menu isnt consistent. The watermelon and tomato salad is gone, and you cant order the ricotta ravioli as a pasta on its own now. If you order at lunch drinks never come and half of order is missing. Id expect more from a top tier restaurant. If the dishes I like dont come back again, I probably wont order from here again. Could be so great, but disappointing."

"Absolutely amazing and authentic Turkish food here. We came on a Monday night so it was pretty empty. The servers provided phenomenal service. We got: -Ezme $8.50). The salad was just a tad spicy but great flavor. -Hummus w/ unlimited pita it's thicker pita bread not the thinner pita)$8.50. Everything was super delicious. I'm picky about my hummus because I prefer the super smooth ones over the chunky ones, but this one was super smooth. -Sigara Boregi $11). The Phyllo dough w/feta and spinach inside. Bit too salty here. -Lamb shish kebab entree $26). The lamb shish kebab was grilled really well though slightly overdone). -Kunafe $12). Absolutely amazing and cheesy. -Turkish coffee $7). Good standard Turkish coffee. Would come back with no hesitation, even just for the kunafe but also for the great hummus."

"I have mixed feelings about this score John 's roast beef sub (and especially the gravy) is one of the best sandwiches I 've had anywhere. And the fish and deli meats are wonderful as well. But....I 'm eating a Godfather sub right now that 's got all the meat...but nothing more. None of the tomato salad mentioned in the Grubhub description nor the ability to leave a note asking them to make sure to include tomato or anything else. And this isn 't the first time it 's happened the fish sandwich I ordered a few months ago didn 't include the lettuce and tomato shown in the photo and, again, no way to request them (or tartar sauce for that matter). Which is disappointing, because the sandwich I thought I was ordering the sandwich I wanted to receive is not the sandwich I am eating. And, needless to say, no way to ask for mustard, olive oil, mayo, or any other condiment.If I had one wish, it would be that the sandwich I receive be the one pictured or described. If I had a second wish, it would be that there be the opportunity to select toppings and condiments the way I can with so many other restaurants. I 'll keep ordering from John 's...but until then, I guess I 'm sticking with the roast beef sub that one never disappoints."

"The hummus with mushroom is probably the highlight. it is a creamy, picky hummus, lined with perfectly sewn mushrooms and swirl; cannot go wrong. the pita is also beautiful and fluffy. the Shiuk salad was light and refreshing with two large pieces of fresh feta. sat on Tuesday to dinner and had no problems getting a place."
