"This place is definitely overrated. On a Saturday afternoon, the food was microwave heated. One can tell the diference between fresh smash potatoes and old ones. And this is just an example among many. Be aware of the fact that in the menu they have 0.5l beers but in reality they are 0.33l with same price."

"This place is great. It is run by a family and you can say from the first minutes that these guys do this business with passion. The place looks very nice and cozy, it has a nice terrace with flowers and everything looks exactly like a true bistro should look. The waiters are friendly and willing to help you to decide about the food or wine.The menu doesn't have lots of dishes but everything sounds special and delicious. And it turns out that this is how everything is. I've tried the tomato soup with mozzarella and it was delicious, but the beef steak was the real surprise. I am kind of picky when it comes to beef steaks but this was one of the best i've ever had! Close to perfect! A friend of mine had the sea food pasta and she seemed very pleased.At the end of the evening the owners came to greet us and to ask how things were. We found out that every day they have some special dishes that are not in the menu and that you should ask about. All in all, they seemed like very nice and passionate people and just by them coming to talk to us at the end made us feel very nice and welcomed.Maybe i might sound a bit too excited about this place, but it's a real pleasure to discover a proper restaurant in a city were it's terribly hard to have a real good dinner, unless you spend a little fortune. Here you have all the things that you find in high-class gourmet bistros, but the prices are like those in any popular every-day restaurant. I just discovered my new favourite place in Bucharest. :)"

"A beautiful home from the 19. Century turned into a restaurant in the centre of Bucharest with many flair photos of old Bucharest. The food is very good: European menu with Italian specialties, but also some Romanian dishes. The waiters always attentive with the customers very nice with a smile on their face at any time. At the end of the dinner they brought an appealing dish with mouthwater desserts to choose from. The wine list could be a bit more generous."

"You can call it the neighborhood restaurant because you can always drop in for a good home-made soup (try the tomato soup) or a delicious salad (try the omega salad). But this year we have tried something else - New Year's party. Going with family and friends we gave it a try here. Plenty of good food served all night, open bar drinks, whether soft or alcoholic and a homey atmosphere. The down rating was done by the dusty music flavored by a music genre that is heavily enjoyed in Romanian parties - a kind of lame imitation of Turkish/Arabic music with sometimes obscene/stupid lyrics. But nevertheless when you just skipped this part you could than enjoy a dance on some more "normal" party music. Overall a good experience and for the non-Romanian guests a moment worth to remember."
